Lovely little bar and offers food as well. Tends to be popular and full. Well priced drinks and I had food last time I visited (2012) which was pleasant. Great to people watch in the sun.

Great place in the centre of Valletta, I've been here several times for coffee and cakes. The inside is gorgeous but when the suns out it's nice to sit in the square. The cakes look very appetising and are tasty. It's a little touristy and expensive but to be expected for the location. Waiters are efficient and friendly but you... More

Sit inside or out service is good. Situated on Valletta's main street a good place to watch the world go by. Seems to be favoured by the Maltese as a place to go when dressed up an intent on looking as though enjoying the high life. You'll see many an outstretched pinkie finger when drinking or eating. Recommended as a... More

Brilliant service. We sat outside as the weather was lovely but inside the Cordina is palacial. A beautiful building in the heart of valletta. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food delicious.

This is the oldest cafe in Valletta, and certainly the most interesting inside visually. But it's a place to look into to satisfy your curiosity rather than to eat at. It is overpriced, its distinctive Maltese pastries, like pastizzi, not very good quality (you can find better at little local bakers), and its staff inattentive to the point of rudeness... More

It was after 5pm when we visited, and the kitchen closes then for hot food. Consequently we just had a cold snack. Were determined to go to the Caffe Codina though, after seeing the reviews. The staff, although really busy, were very polite and obliging. There is a large seating area across the square, which always appears to be as... More

Caffe Cordona is in the centre of Valletta and cannot be missed as it is the largest and most frequented cafe you will find. Lots of tables nested under parasols in a lovely square. My Wife had seared tuna salad, my Daughter spaghetti bolognaise and I had Mexican wrap. The tuna was excellent, bolognaise very good and wrap was ok.... More
