Had dinner here which was fried rabbit - took a chance but it appeared to be more of a rabbit stew which was delicious, staff very friendly and attentive. Will check me here again soon. Thanks

Small unimposing entrance but what a restaurant, the best rib eye steak I have ever had, my wife's chicken was excellent, accompanied by a generous carafe of local wine, and super value, all served by very friendly staff, highly recommended.
This a truly historic setting for meal so enjoy the ambience- the band still meets and plays - but upstairs so dont worry but look at the awrds and photographs- before ordering- everything here is brilliant including the service- hose white was ace too!

We choose this restaurant because we were inspired from outside. (We didn't check the rate). Location is good, staff is friendly, good list of menu. But overall food was ok, acceptable but don't that great. Plus service, even was professional, it was slow.
