You know the food is good when it takes time to arrive is very well presented and tastes lovely that’s Amore.
The pastas are fresh very tasty with fresh ingredients. The Risotto is amazing with a very subtle curry flavour complimented by herbs, just perfect. The Rosette is beautifully presented fresh pasta with ham & cheese and bechamel sauce. We would recommend the food here and the owners and perfect hosts along with lovely serving staff. If you in Valletta give this place a go you will not be disappointed.
We will visit again a big thank you.

Very well served at That's Amore in the beautiful city of Valletta. Delicious Angus beef burger and lovely fried calamari and they also served us gluten free fresh fish and fries. Ended the meal with maltese imqaret. A truly enjoyable lunch with great customer service.

The food was Amazing! I ordered Margharita and Bruscetta. The Pizza was delicious, the best thing in it was probably the cheese and the crispy crust. We also had same pasta. It was really good too.
and the bruscetta? tottaly awesome! crispy, well seasoned and overall delicious! the Staff was also really kind and helpful, always smiling and playing good music. they also had a little chat with us which was full of jokes and laughs. You can also get a free drink to every meal. A great place to eat in Valetta.

This was the worst service and worst meal we have had over the last nine days in Malta. After being shown to our table the order for our wine and meal was taken fairly quickly. Our bottle of Rose was delivered in reasonable time but without a wine cooler. The waiter said he would bring one but then proceeded to serve other tables. It took over ten minutes to attract the attention of another waiter to bring us the cooler. I had ordered Rabbit Stew and My wife ordered the Lamb Shank both said they came with roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables. We then waited over an hour for our food to be served. No apology for the delay but a basket of bread was delivered with the meals which we thought was a gesture of good will. The plates had not been warmed and both mine and my wife’s food were tepid. Both came with chips and not the roast potatoes as stated. I then realised that there were no roasted vegetables either so I had to ask for these from a waiter. A plate of warm veg was delivered. My rabbit stew was tough and so was my wife’s lamb shank. Due to the length of time we waited we ate most of the meal but at no time were we asked if everything was ok. When I asked for the bill there was an additional charge of $3.50 which I can only assume was for the bread that we didn’t order. When we received our change we were brought a complementary drink which we left as it was no compensation for such a terrible meal. Avoid this place at all costs as they are obviously stretched with staffing resources.

Where do i start...
Well we ordered the Rabbit Stew which was unedible, completely tough and the sauce was tasteless and boring, the carrots used in the sauce were clearly frozen and added to what i assume was also a frozen sauce.
We also ordered a starter which was a platter, the maltese sausage was nice however they provided a large amount of greek hardish cheese which no one would eat in such quantities. The platter was cold and looked like it had been hanging around a little while.
I ordered a beef special which was beef wrapped around mince meat, this was ok and nothing special but again the carrots were clearly frozen.
I can forgive most of these things if the prize was half of what it was however each dish we ordered cost at least €20. This was a complete waste of money. They are reliant on footfall and tourism clearly, no one would come here twice, certainly not if they've tried the rabbit. Do not go here you'll be ripped off.

Can’t evaluate the food. As they did not bring. Saturday night. Busy but no queues. We ordered a pizza and a gnocchi that is normally fast and we waited for 50 minutes until I finally asked the waiter. He said he would check and a promise of 5 more minutes was made. But it founded as if my order was never taken. One more promise and nothing. I left without eating which is something that never happened to me in my life. I can confirm that it was more than an hour based on a picture I took from the location. I am sure this is not their standard but I had bad luck.

Food was average, but I’m not convinced we had the wine we ordered. The waiter did not open the bottle of white wine we ordered at the table, which they should do, and the top was already opened. When we ordered another bottle of the same wine, same thing again, but the wine was a completely different colour! I think there was something dodgy going on! There are lots of better restaurants than this place, where the food is better and where they’ll open the bottle of wine at your table, so at least you know you’re getting what you paid for.

Salad and burger were dry, we have to ask for olive oil and ketchup and wait for them to arrive. It also took quite long for the food to come. We ordered coke and that tasted watery (they cane by glass, ask for bottle!). We waited for the bill for some time, but they didn't tell we have to go inside to pay it. Inside lady pointed me to pay to the card machine, and I waited her to give me the receit, but she just left somewhere and in the end I grabbed the receit from the machine myself. In total, bad experience, can't recommend.

My mother and I visited here on our first evening in Valletta, the service and the food were wonderful. Attentive service and good tasty food with a wonderful glass of Malbec each. We enjoyed the visit so much we returned the following evening, what a monumental mistake!! We understand it was a busy day/evening, and the staff were doing their best. However, they were clearly struggling!! We eventually placed our order for 2 x main courses and a glass of wine each. The wine although lovely was nowhere near the size of the previous evening and my meal arrived, like warm and mother's a while afterwards having been so obviously reheated in a microwave, the dish and the contents were boiling hot!! Not only was it far too hot, it was dried up so much my mother was unable to eat it!! We pointed this out to the service staff, and although they apologised, we were offered a free ice cream, which was tasteless and disgusting. We were surprised when there was no offer to remove the inedible food from the bill even when queried. Will never eat here again nor recommend anyone else to.

Very proactive, accommodating friendly staff, I have been 4 times.
I had different dishes: Seabass, Pasta, Ravioli, Maltese pizza. All fresh food!
The prices aren't high as the quality of the food is amazing, good menu choices.
I waited at the table max 20 minutes, obviously becose they use just fresh ingredients as I mentioned, so usually I prefer wait and eat good quality of food. The location is very nice, in the hearth of Valletta. I will definitely come back again. Food made with love. Very recommended.
Thanks so much :)

good wine selection{foreign},and delicious
lemon sorbet.
only one brand of table-water.
very nice atmosphere.
A very enjoyable time ,will surely recommend to friends.

We fell upon this restaurant by chance - they appear to have a good ‘local’ following and we could see why. The pasta dishes were all freshly prepared and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for owner Roderick and his team - even ‘designing’ a dish for my husband who cannot eat certain things.
The Tiramisu is to die for
All in all a very pleasant experience - we will go back

The nice little restaurant is located on Merchant Street. The food - especially the "Maltese Platter" - was excellent. Not easy to find a dish for vegetarians but after asking we could get the "Maltese Platter" as a veggie version. The service was very attentive.

Turns out it’s difficult to get something to eat in Valletta late on a Tuesday in February, who would have thought. We ate outside (there’s only one table inside, or was when we were there), plenty of shelter and warm with the heaters on. The staff were friendly, the food was OK and it was reasonably priced. Wouldn’t rush back but have had much worse food elsewhere.

We visited Malta for the first time and randomly stopped at this restaurant to try some Maltese food. We sat outside and the owner served us a wonderful platter of different Maltese delicacies, the grilled octopus and the rabbit stew. All of it was delicious But I have never eaten better rabbit in my life! Highly recommend
In addition he and my husband decided they may actually be long lost relatives lol
Such wonderful food and friendly service it is named after his father’s favorite Dean Martin song ❤️ Can’t wait to return
