It’s been too long since our last visit and very pleased we picked this beautiful spot again for our lunch. Spoilt for choice with the menu, we chose the wine first - a chilled white bottle of Sicilian white and soaked up the ambience. The...pace of service suited us perfectly and we were very well looked after while we enjoyed a long leisurely lunch. We will be back soon.More

Staff really helpfull and the service was very good , everything arrived on time and the restaurant was busy. the view is just amazing. The food is really expensive but i dont mind that as i already knew that and considering the michelin guide. Food...arrived and it was ok.. Wasnt bad but at no point did it blew me away. When setting the bar high with prices you have to meet the expectations with food. but this wasnt the case. does it worth your money ? No , not really.More

This restaurant was definitely not Michelin star. Service was horrible and incredibly slow, except from the manager. The prices are ridiculous for extremely small portions and the food is not so tasty. I have never been to a restaurant where they charge 4.50 euro for...EXTRA bread, it is ridiculous. The only positive thing about the restaurant is its decor and location. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone it’s over priced and way over rated.More

Only gets 1 star as can’t give 0. Started badly as on dark road with gangs of youths hanging around. Unfriendly welcome. Service was unacceptably slow and from one of the staff reluctant at best. Nowhere near Michelin star standard (as proved by a visit...elsewhere two days later). It was 60 mins before we got starter even though it wasn’t busy. Bread was an after thought and we had to ask twice for butter. Clients mainly seemed to be young people trying to impress each other. We as oldies failed to impress anyone. We would honestly say just don’t go.More

Only given one star as wouldn’t allow none. Very poor service, no attention given to customers even when there were only 6 tables. Even getting a menu or an order being taken took too long but to actually receive food became unreasonable and absurd -...3 hours after ordering and mains hadn’t arrived (even being told at ordering the wild game would take 20mins to cook). Would definitely recommend to avoid, unless you have plenty hours to kill and even then your food would be below average qualityMore

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to end, it’s been an absolute nightmare, from just plain bad and inattentive service, to the boring, uninspired and lack of any quality control food. This place definitely is in the Mitchelin guide for...restaurants to completely avoid. Our nightmare lasted almost 3 hours, we were seated fairly quickly and we’d even booked in advance. The restaurant was fairly quiet and had enough staff in the front of house, but you rarely heard a word from them at all. Not once in our entire ordeal were we asked if we wanted any more drinks or if everything was alright, they even forgot our bread. Starter came just after half an hour and was a generic Thai broth with at least 6-7 shells broken and big chunks in the broth, the chef here is either an amateur or just doesn’t care. It’s a choking hazard for start and just not acceptable for the price that you have to pay. Mains arrived, the lobster was average and a complete rip off for the price, they couldn’t even de-claw one of lobster claws properly and was treated to a mouthful of the feather like bone that runs through it. My partner ordered the wild game and it was so overcooked, it was basically a flip flop. She was very disappointed and it took almost 3 hours to receive our meals. Overall, terrible from service to the food, do not come here. It had no redeeming qualities.More

This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, waiters were very rude and they tried to charge us €15 each for a service charge, which was a lot as there was 18 of us. The prices are ridiculous for extremely small portions. The...food was undercooked yet took around an hour to arrive since ordering. I would not recommend going useless you enjoy wasting your money. I almost can’t express my disappointment, I just urge you not to bother!More

Definitely not Michelin star experience. We were repeatedly ignored whenever we signalled for attention, food service was very slow and each time we had to ask for the next plate, food was lower than average and nothing to behold and the prices match a far...higher standard than the one we were offered. But what tops all the what can only be called an infinitely irritating experience was the high decibels of the very poor choice of music for lunch dining. So much so that my friend and I sitting very close by on our table could not converse to save our lives. When we politely hinted at our displeasure at such a dismal performance from a Michelin star restaurant so openly flaunting this wherever you looked we were very rudely given the retort that it’s ‘a Michelin guide not Michelin’…?? What it definitely isn’t is anywhere close to a Michelin star. Makes you wonder how it ever was awarded.More

Capo Crudo was recommended to my Company for an all inclusive tour as a Top Restaurant. We were more than 20 persons and we selected all different dishes from the menu. None of my colleagues was happy with the meal and all were quite unsatisfied...of the poor quality for such a high price. I personally selected the Nero di Sepia Pasta which should have been filled pasta and according to description of a black color (Nero) . Well I received 4 vertical tiny cannelloni (of yellow pasta) filled with a strange not detectable mix (scalopp, prawn &crab) very disappointing. Than I continued with the 6 pcs King Prawns dish which were grilled on a smelly gas fire and sprayed with rosmarine. I have never seen seafood served with rosmarine. At the end you eat the inside of the prawns which were luckily untouched by the rosmarine. Another colleague ordered Spaghetti Carbonara.. the small bacon cubes were huge and the creamy sauce looked had cream in it..uneatable. Another colleague had a cut of veal which was like curled, hard meat and so salted ...impossible to chew and digest. Although the restaurant location might be beautiful during the day at night it was was so apart from the centre so lonely and scary.More

Dagger looks started as soon as we entered the restaurant they where not welcoming, we sat down ordered our food, the spaghetti carbonara was very buttery and the octopus was like chewing gum literally had to chew 2 minutes on a bite just so you...can swallow it and on top of that they didn’t even offer any sort of liquor at the end of our meal, whilst they offered table next to us, The bill came up to nearly 400 euros we still tipped them 5 euros just so we can leave quietly the waiter grabbed the 5 euros looked at it as if only this? Highly disappointed from a restaurant that showcases it’s michelin stars everywhereMore

We decided to book at capo crudo for a nice dinner which turned out totally different. It’s an over rated restaurant with overpriced items. Secondly we asked the server for fresh fish since it’s CAPO CRUDO I’m sure they have nice fish. Guess not!! The...server told us they have seabass. I asked her if it’s wild not fish farmed and she told us it’s wild cause they are all different sizes usually fish farm are all 1 size. Great way to promote fish in a “Michelin”. I gave up on fish!!! So we decided to choose from the menu, i had octopus which tasted more mint then anything else and my wife had spaghetti lobster which was OK but nothing that says wow coming from this restaurant. Regarding wine nothing is cheap or average priced. A cheap wine will cost you over €30 at least from here. And the best part I had just a normal henricks gin no cucumber and in a normal glass for a whooping €16 unbelievable. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone it’s over priced and way over rated there are so many nice restaurant around and in Valletta for money and quality.More

Loud music accompanied by super slow service. Waiting for main course over 2 hours. Olives and bread for a table of 6 only fed three of us. Dish was delicious but portions are not oversized. If you are hungry definitely take an Appetizer. Food was...not cheap at all. Service rather inattentive for a so called Michelin restaurant.More
