This is a tiny restaurant just off the main road on sliema front. Food was excellent and home grown/made and owners helped explain each dish. We had mixed starter mussels and chicken special with carafe of house white wine which was very nice although medium...dry rather than dry. Homemade chilli sauce a must and the chef’s opera singing provided a unique milieu. Definitely give it a try.More

We visited here on holiday and booked in advance. The restaurant was full which is always a good sign. The setting is lovely and it has a good atmosphere. Service is good and the food was tasty. I had sausage ravioli and my boyfriend had...sea bream. I would recommend this restaurant.More

While looking on the internet for a typical and traditional Maltese restaurant, I found and went to this family treasure in the center of Sliema. Cuisine overflowing with generosity and savoir faire. The very caring and professional owner explains and advises with great relevance. Special...mention for the homemade Maltese dessert by the owner herself. A delight, well done!More

A very small authentic maltese restaurant. The place looks very nice and the stuff is very friendly and familiar. The maltese cuisine was excellent and loved it. If you go early for dinner around 6 pm maybe you’re lucky to get a table otherwise you...should reserve a tableMore

Small place but with a very homy vintage deco. Delicious food, from appetizers to mains and desserts. Delicious pasta, that I can only recommend. Thank you for a fabulous meal.

Chose the shared platter to start, great choice as it gave us a taste of Malta. I chose the bragoli and my friend the grilled rabbit. Both dishes were served piping hot, the sauces were delicious. The accompanying vegetables of carrots and marrow with fennel...went with both dishes well. The portions were more than adequate, the waitress informative and friendly and a big plus for me, no muzak in the background(although the cuckoo clock did go off😁) Under €60 for 2 without alcohol. Highly recommendedMore

Don’t come to Malta without experiencing this restaurant! Exquisite, cultural Maltese food. Friendly staff. Food portions were fantastically satisfying and well presented. Very small restaurant so make sure you book a reservation. Wine selection good. Don’t come here if you don’t want to try Maltese...food, there’s no other cuisines on the menu. I also visited during Covid-19 and I was pleasantly surprised with the attention and awareness to cleanliness. Sanitising all chairs/tables/rails and front door. Im not sure I can recommend to come here with kids but if your on a date night then this is the spot. Thank you Il-Merill and when I’m back in Malta, you’ll be sure to see me.More

We had dinner as a family but we did not like the Maltese cooking. The restaurant is nice and the service is good. Very large portions at a reasonable price.

We visited has a family for an evening meal, it's a cosy little place. Due to the current restrictions half the tables are removed so would recommend booking in advance. Eating here is like popping round to a neighbor's house for tea, home cooked food...is a cosy settings. Serving local cuisine at a reasonable price, would definitely visit again. Only issue we had, our daughters paste was under cooked, this wasn't an issue it was replaced when brought to the attention of the staff. Would eat here again.More
