We found La Vida after arriving on our first night in Malta, the Staff was amazingly friendly and were great with all the vegetarian options we wanted. The food comes exceptionally quickly and the wine was well priced. both local and Spanish wines as options.

I have to admit, that I love this place in Sliema. Great tapas, really good wine, I drink only red, red was good. Octopus with potatos was genial, but someone decided to change the recipe, not necessary:-) my kids love burito and chicked quesadillas
