One of the dirtiest places you can eat pastizzi in. On the other hand they serve some of the best pastizzi on the island and they are open 24hrs so they are very convenient for people who stay out partying all night long.

I've been going to Crystal Palace for years to have their excellent pastizzi, the Maltese savoury pasties. Part of the joy of visiting is the atmosphere: the local men chatting amongst themselves, the birds in cages twittering away, a football match commentary blaring from the television. The owner is a really nice guy, and the prices are extremely fair. A... More

This place, adjacent to the bus station, is not looking fancy, but popular with locals. They have very good, fresh, and cheap pastizzi, as well as cold drinks. Ideal to takeaway and have lunch, or a bite, in the park close by.

Try pastizzi from possibly Malta's most popular pastizzi place - this is a little hidden away old men's bar which has a long standing reputation for making great pastizzi.... the pastizzi are great, often taken away to be eaten with friends at the nearby gardens...

What a great place!! Firstly the pastizzi were delicious (and so cheap), but my favourite part was the shop itself. It is really old school. Full of character. As a tourist, you would walk straight past it if you didn't know about the food, but once you go in it takes you back in time. I can't imagine the place... More

Excellent local place for freshly-baked pastizzi, the traditional savoury pastry from Malta usually filled with either ricotta or mushy peas, though there's a chicken option here too. The pea-filled one was the highlight. It's not a place to sit and linger. Best to grab a selection of the oven-fresh pastries and find a spot in the nearby park with a... More

The best place to eat the local pastizzi! There are 4 flavors of pastizzi served, and I tried each of them. It was so delicious and I would totally recommend to everyone!

Well, this is not a normal restaurant. It's 'fast food' serving local pastizzi, cheesecakes. The food is delicious but don't expect to have guaranteed seating with top comfort :)

This is a real local "Mans"hangout not good for anything else other than walking in buying some of their delicious Pastizzi at an amazing 30cents each and taking them somewhere else to enjoy. Don't get me wrong although you are stared at by the various maltese "Rab C Nesbitt types,it's in a friendly way. Open late this tiny cafe is... More
