Stopped by after walking around the Sunday market. Sat down n was greeted by the friendly host. Had a nice chat and was left to peruse the menu. Made our order n the food came promptly. We had the Shellfish n Prawns, fried Calamari, Cheese Salad. The seafood was so fresh, you can taste the calamari even after being fried.... More

Simply the best most authentic Maltese seafood-highly recommend any dish on the menu, but I cannot believe how wonderful the traditional fish broth is – as good as my mothers. Very well priced might not be the flashes place on the Esplanade but by far the most satisfying food

After reading reviews thought I should try this restaurant but was in for a great disappointment. Table for 2 in the corridor ended up smelling of fried food had a good mind to throw away the clothes. Asked for a bottle of Prosecco this was just p,aced on the table we had to ask for a cooler. Torn and frayed... More

Just one of many on the front at Marsaxlokk but the fish was so fresh and juicy, unlike several other places we tried where the fish seemed mass produced. My husband enthused about his swordfish pasta while I enjoyed the platter of three different types of oven baked fish. Wash it down with a few glasses of local wine, watch... More

We went here because of good reviews. We chose to have the fresh fish plate with salad and chips What a disappointment The fish did not taste fresh and was overcooked. Seemed as if it had been reheated from a couple of days ago. We had just been to the Sunday fish market!! there was no excuse for this. The... More

We were in Marsaxlokk for the day and trekked up and down the restaurants. What appealed was the idea that the husband caught the fish, and that the prices seemed reasonable! We weren't disappointed and had a very good lunch of sea bream, which were filleted for us. There was a choice of roast potatoes or chips, and hot vegetables... More

Fish was really nice, more than we expected for the 2 person platter. Food came promptly and the lady serving us was helpful and friendly.

We visited this restaurant twice during a weeks holiday based in Birgu [Vittoriosa] so had to travel there. The second visit was on Christmas day. It was well worth it. Not only is the location in a lovely fishing village, right on the harbour, but the service was first class and the food divine. The whole meal on both days... More
