I ended up in this restaurant after googling for local cuisine. I can simply say it was very good. I order a started and main dish accompanied by local beer. They have menus in English (and German). Waiters are very polite and speak quite good English. I definitely recommend eating in this restaurant: the chef is a master.

This is a small hotel by the Rhein. Excellent customer service and some staff speak English. Food very good if a little expensive. Rooms clean and tidy.

Usually when I stay at this hotel I'm on business, and often dining alone. Dinner at the bar is quite nice in the winter, and in the biergarten when the weather is good. Local dishes, quite a variety, and the sauerbraten is bery good.

It is located conveniently on the eastern shore of the river exactly in middle between Koln and Dusseldorf. The food is typical to this area Schnitzel, veal liver and mashed potatoes, heavy and dense apple cake. Service is a bit lazy. Prices above average.

The food here is good German food. Personally I think it's a little highly priced but service is very good and quality is good. There is a good selection of food to choose from. Would definitely eat there again.

Location-wise the hotel couldn't have been better, since I had to visit a client in walking distance. This hotel is somewhat provincial, but everything you need is there. I took a larger room - which was really large - but had no view at all. Breakfast was good, Internet acceptable and the service very friendly and efficient.

The place also rents out hotel rooms, so I booked it via HRS on a business trip. While the place is nicely located on the town´s edge with a view on the river Rhine, its interiors are clean an nicely kept, but certainly old-fashioned. However, my upstairs room was nice, big and clean and with a fast W-LAN, the staff... More

I was in the hotel and I was searching something outside and avoid to stay in the hotel. At the end, I choose to stay here and it was a great choice. Appetizer: pumpkin soup. very satisfactory. Steak: well cook, more tender than other restaurants. Wine: I wanted a german red wine, and it was ok. We know that german... More

Do not let the other reviews fool you. I had to stay here for work. It was a quickly planned trip so other hotels were booked. The owners/workers here are very rude. The accommadations are spartan to say the least. There is a bed with a blanket and pillow and that's pretty much it. No iron, no alarm clock, no... More
