This was the only meal on our trip that had to be sent back to the kitchen. The chef obviously did not have any idea of how horrible it was. It was so salty it was a joke. No one could of possibly eaten it. We sent it back to the kitchen and the chef was very nice and prepared... More

We stopped here on a really cold day on a one day trip to the area. The seafood soup that we had was to die for. I have never had anything like it before.

We had a lovely meal here. Salmon with veggies and scalloped potato puff, cod with barley in a lovely sauce.Average prices for Iceland, friendly service. Did not need a reservation - a relief, as some other places in town were full up.

The salmon and the cod were terrific, but the mussels were uninteresting (nice and large, but lacking in seasoning/preparation). The waitress and the manager (or owner?) were very friendly.

Spent a nice evening here. Warm welcome from staff (family business). Varied menu, plenty of seafood options. No whale meat or endangered tuna. Great!!

Food was good. Huge bowl of mussels was served. However, waitress neglected to write down the lamb order for one of our party of four, so she was served 30 minutes after the rest of us.

Ridiculously delicious salmon - freshest I've ever had and we eat a lot of fresh salmon! Warm and welcoming, informal but delicious. Lamb shank and venison also a big hit at the table, and the warm chocolate cake brought down the house!

Service was a bit slow - but the food was worth the wait. I had the special of the day - blue mussels - OMG - they were amazing. My friend had the salmon and it was also amazing.

The food here is ok. But the service was slow. We had to ask for water three times. While other tables had bottle brought to them. Also drinks never arrived. The main dish as described in the menu was not as promised. And no explanation given. As well as dessert missing elements. All round very disappointing.

Thank George P
