Food and service in Reykjavik is generally of top quality but the best I have ever experienced is Grilled in Reykjavik (Hotel Saga). If I want to have good view of Reykjavik at same time as having excellent dinner then you select Grilled. The price...More

Grillið is an excellent restaurant but the excellence comes at a price in an already expensive country. The food from a short menu and a small kitchen is outstanding in both quality and presentation. Personally, I find it a little grating having my food explained...More

We enjoyed an absolutely marvelous dinner at Grilled last night. Even in New York you could not find a more creative chef who made your dining such a delightful experience with his exquisitely prepared food. He even took the time to tell us about each...More

This is one of the finest restaurants in Reykjavík. The adventurous 7 course dinner will cost you around $100 but it is high class in every aspect. We came with a rather large group so we didn't experience the romantic side at this time. We...More

We went there for my mother-in-law's 60th birthday and had a wonderful evening. We had the seven course set menu with wine pairings and the dishes ranged from very good to excellent. My favorite was the pan-fried ling with fermented garlic and cabbage. A close...More

We stayed in hotel and decided to try it. Selection of the meals is very limited, not much (if any) vegetarian dishes. The prices are outrageous. I would like to give my feedback on taste, but the amount on the plate does not even get...More

We made a reservation after chef Sigi invited us to visit the restaurant after meeting him for the Taste of Iceland event in Seattle. So six months later we walked into the restaurant (as the first guests), and we were told by the wait staff...More

If you want the true flavor of Iceland then the Buffet is where you should dine.. 4 course. top shelf food. they dont over cook anything. their vegetables must be imported during the winter. In Iceland everything is expensive.. go for it.

Interesting tasting menu of some of Iceland's modern specialities. Vegetarians easily accommodated. Expensive, but it was included in our tour pricing. Excellent view of Reykjavik.
