We were a few friends who dined there this summer and it was ok but according to the pricing we expected more. It was good, but not good enough. The service was excellent though

Just wandered in off the street and were not disappointed. Not maybe the trendiest setting but the food was fantastic, especially the skyr pudding. Not cheap - but then eating in Iceland is never cheap but worth it

I wanted to take my mom out for a special dinner. We went down town found this place so we went in there and order'd. My mom order'd Lobster and I did to. We had to wait a little while but the Lobster was excellent. This is a high class restaurant. All there menu is good.

This was recommended to us by our hotel - and what a great choice. Old fashioned ambience - almost 1920's - but nice service and reasonable price ($100 for two including wine.) We had the lamb combination which was a lamb steak and a pulled lamb slow cooked for 12 hours which was SO tender. Couple with parsnips, roast potatoes... More

Went there for a romantic dinner on a Wednesday. The atmosphere was so quiet and nice, though there were more people than us. Good food, and nice service

Starters and main course were very good but not excellent. Is nicely located and the staff were nice and helpful.

Had a great time. Meet very nice people from Iceland and spend many hours talking to them (unfortunately with to many drinks. Service is friendly and the music is not to loud. P.S. Learned even some few Icelandic words that night.

Had the appetizer sampler which was whale, scallops, lobster soup. All were excellent. One entree ordered was ling and another lamb. Fantastic. Host Laufar was wonderful. It wasn't a busy night so we had a chance to really chat with him. Setting in an old house was beautiful and charming. Not cheap but well worth it. Probably would be challenging... More
