We had a very good food there, salmon carpaccio for dessert, and as a main course a tender beef steak as well as a pizza. Then a cremé brulée for dessert. All was good and the service very friendly.

We visited as it was convenient having arrived back late from a trip and very glad that we did. We ordered the Caruso Pizza and the calabrese spaghetti both were good portions and delicious. The overall ambience is lovely and love the traditional decoration. A must visit if you want Italian food

We visited the restaurant 3 times in our 4 day stay. I can honestly say it's the best food I have eaten. Everything was perfect. The decor and atmosphere is very romantic and the staff are extremely friendly. We left each time very happy and couldn't wait to return. The portions are generous, so generous I had to take some... We received complementary bread with garlic sauce and water and the Lasagne was amazing. As with most places in Iceland it is expensive and we paid £56 including tip for two lasagnes and a large beer. The service was also very good and it's a nice setting.

First off, like everywhere in Iceland, the prices are likely to destroy your appetite - get over it, or pack yourself lots of snacks! The location is excellent, heart of downtown near all the action, yet it manages to achieve an intimate atmosphere, with the dining area split into 3-4 small rooms. On the weekends there is live music (classical... More

We went here for dinner on New Years Eve - it was expensive - but very good. It's a quaint and charming building right in the city centre. The atmosphere was great, there was a wide choice of dishes, the service was attentive and the food was delicious.

I ate on here twice over New Year and the food is lovely but very expensive we have never paid so much for a meal but Reykjavik is a very expensive place I would love to go back maybe some day.

Had a dinner party of 14 and they offer 3 different pre-fixe menus (starter, entree and dessert). They give out bread with the best garlic butter. The restaurant reminds me of a house and has seating in different, small rooms but very comfortable and pleasant.

It's a quaint little place and I'd say a rather romantic evening spot right in the middle of town, however it was massively overpriced even for Icelandic standards. 6500KR for a tiny piece of salmon is laughable. The veg lasagne was nice but again quite pricey. We left still hungry and got snacks elsewhere.

We booked this through the receptionist at our hotel and were sadly not informed that the New Years Eve menu would be reused for New Years Day. This meant that an already pricey restaurant on normal menus became super expensive by an extra ~50% with much limited choice. Listening to other tables, they were also surprised that the regular menu... More
