Happy to find this little place nearby where we stayed in Iceland. Had excellent lamb soup and bread, as well as sandwiches. Staff were nice and food was very good, and not too expensive. Visited it for lunch and dinner.

I wish more people knew about this place! It is a hidden gem in the heart of this beautiful country. The waitresses were wonderful and the foo was delicious. Will definitely go back there one day when inre-visit Iceland!

Great coffee, especially after a hike in the cold. The girls working there were very friendly and brought our coffee outside to us. We had apple pie with our coffee for $9.00, which was ridiculous, but not surprising for Iceland. It wasn't anything to brag...More

The owner or the waiter was very unfriendly, i do not recommend this place. Location is nice and you can just sit on the grass in front.

After walking up the mountain Esja, enjoying the great view in unbelievable weather, it was a real treat to have some lamb soup and a beer (or two) in Esjustofa restaurant when we came down. Great soup and the location is the same.

Great location. Friendly staff. The traditional Icelandic meat soup was just like grandma used to make it! Very tasty and nostalgic experience.

After a long day touring we stopped here for something to eat around 6pm. Got a warm friendly welcome. Food on offer was home made soup, paninis and delicious cakes. There was the traditional lamb soup which was really tasty and carrot and ginger, again...More
