Had one of the best burgers ever, the meat melted in your mouth cooked to perfection. Local cloudy beer turned into 3 didn't want to leave.

First time here we were greeted warmly there was a short wait for a table which was fine, however just as we got settled we were politely asked if we would mind moving tables which we did. We ordered beef fillet 200g. The big one 400g. And two burgers one of those well done. No bell peppers on anything due... More

From a culinary point of view, we really enjoyed our meal at this small restaurant on the main street of Reykjavik - Laugavegur. The food was delicious. The restaurant was busy, very cosy and had a good atmosphere with nice bluesy music playing in the background. During our stay, we have found the Icelandic people to be really polite, but... More

Visited this place whilst in reykjavik. Very welcome service and lovely food. Price was better than most places in reykjavik but still expensive when you convert it to the pound. Would recommend this place if you visit.

We found this restaurant on our first night in Reykjavik and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the Cod which was fresh, delicious and a good portion size, coming with potatoes and Mediterranean-style peppers, tomatoes and onion. We then tried the Icelandic pancakes which were served with home-made jam and cream, also delicious! (You need to guess the jam!)... More

Visited on one of our first nights and was pretty happy with the meal here. We mostly had burgers which were very good, I don't think they quite make the best burgers in the world but they were very delicious. Also the chips were incredible! We did have to pay extra for mayo though which seemed a bit tight!

We visited Iceland over the holidays...and on our first night we stumbled into Restaurant 73 as it was across from our hotel. It's a small family run restaurant with AMAZING Food. I had the Cod which was super tasty and fresh. Our whole group loved the meal. If you are going to Iceland I would totally recommend eating here.

In a city as unbelievably expensive as Reykjavic it can be tempting to 'shop around' when looking for a restaurant to save yourself a few quid, especially if you've been here for a few days and are beginning to become worn down by paying £10 for a beer and £3 for a packet of crisps etc etc. My advise, if... We visited this restaurant today. After a busy day at the Blue Lagoon, my husband and I just wanted to relax and havekey dinner. The place seemed vibrant and so we went in. The staff weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. Unlike so many places in Reykjavik. We ordered some chicken wings to start and the cod with sautéed potatoes. No... More

Crispy coating? You are kidding right? That's what you do to fish when it ain't fresh enough and you need to hide the taste :-P But sorry to disappoint you. It is still one of our biggest sellers and remains quite popular even after you and your husband left your reviews ;-) (and man oh man do people disagree with... More
