We stopped in for lunch after a walking tour on a cold and windy day. It was lovely and warm. Fab tomato soup was just what we needed.

Very rustic interior, food is wholesome and well presented. Waiting staff are Icelandic maidens, which helps! Take care with the steep steps into the front door.

Lovely soup, check out the offers of the day. Nice staff. Cakes looked amazing although didn't try them myself. The salted bread with the soup is out of this world!

This cafe has excellent coffee and some nice pastries. It is a historic building with a quaint half-timbered brick interior. It is a very nice place to stop for mid-morning coffee and near the center of things downtown.

Found this lovely little quaint cafe whilst exploring the town centre. The cafe offers a breakfast menu, plus a range of light bites, including paninis, bagettes, sandwiches and salads. We had a late lunch here while walking up from the harbour area. My wife had a salad which came with salted bread - most of which I ended up eating because it was so good even though the panini I had came with so much delicious filling and it's own side salad. It was also a warm respite from... More

I needed something to warm me up. Having just come from the Netherlands, I was anxious to find the delicious artisan coffees I had taken for granted there. This place served just that. Curl up with a book, free wifi, delicious coffee, and convenient location. Reasonably priced, too!
