If you want a great meal that features many traditional Icelandic foods and drink, this is the place. There is a cozy, noisy bar atmosphere, but the food is top notch. For the non-adventurous try the lamb shank. But you can also have puffin, shark...More

This cozy restaurant offers an interesting selection of typical Icelandic food, incredible burgers and good salads. Good variety of local beer . Good service and friendly staff. Nice ambiance. I liked it a lot.

If you're looking for a place to try Icelandic cuisine, this is a good place. We had drinks and dessert here (husband is a vegetarian, so not much for him to eat here). The rhubarb pie was just average, but the beer was good. Great...More

So the girls were worried about what to eat while in Iceland. They did not want to eat puffin or whale or raindeer well this servers it all. But they ordered a delish beef Berger with fries and we very happy.

lamb burger was phenomenal, with melted tindur cheese that drips off and lamb bacon !!!!. I had the puffin in a jar which was the perfect amount to just taste it if you're not sure if you'll like it. loved it

The bartenders were very friendly, seemed like a decent bar. I had the grilled puffin and Icelandic stew and they were both quite good.

My first day in Iceland, I went on a city tour that took us to this place where we had meat soup and beer. It's a good thing I don't live in Reykjavík, because I'd go broke from eating here every day. I was completely...More

We decided to visit this place to try the traditional whale steak and we were happy with our choice. The staff was attentive, the food and beers tasty and there was even live music playing on that Friday evening. What a great atmosphere!

Icelandic through and through. Icelandic cuisine with a twist. Not touristy, more the place for travelers to mix with the locals. The only bar in the world that serves all Icelandic beers and spirits.
