Dill never ceases to amaze us. The food and wine pairings are completely original and unexpected. Nothing served at Dill will taste like anything you've had anywhere else. The dining room is tiny which makes for an intimate experience. One evolution that is not for...More

My friend and I visited Dill in Reykjavik in april 2017. Initially we didn't have a reservation, but suddenly, as somebody cancelled their's, we were lucky to get the chance. The food and the wine pairing was amazing and innovative, the interior was cool, Nordic-ish,...More

4 of us planned it long in advance and anticipated a lot. Apparently, main chef was off for few days, maybe that was the reason for overall "just ok" experience. We went for a seven course dinner, I will give a lot of credit for...More

Dill Restaurant is part of the new wave of restaurants using local ingredients and taking them to a haute gourmet level. Cod chin, dung smoked trout, wolf fish were all part of the menu. Picky eaters may find this place undesirable because it offers one...More

I have to agree with Colette L - I think the chef was having an off day today and going a little too far with the experiments. I didn't expect a lot of things I saw/ate today including burnt bread rolls, burnt kale, two doses...More

Dined at Dill in 2015 and had an amazing meal. My husband and I still look back fondly on our experience there and would absolutely return if ever in Iceland again. Booked the reservation online a few weeks before our trip with no issues. The...More

This intimate and comfortable restaurant offers one tasting menu with the option of having 5 or 7 courses, and with or without wine pairings. Our 7 beautifully presented dishes included all of the must have Icelandic foods, from root vegetables to brown cheese to rhubarb...More

I had booked Dill restaurant many months in advance after reading it was 'the place to eat in Iceland' but unfortunately I did not think it lived up to the hype. I feel the Chef has perhaps gone a bit too out there with his...More

Dill was a special experience. The food, drinks and service were all thoughtful and interesting. Most impressive for me was how well the style was represented throughout every detail of the room and every detail of our dinner. Exceptional use of textures and minimalist expression...More

Hi, should a man wear a blazer or is it more informal?

It is reasonably informal. I had a jacket, no tie. No jacket will be fine.
Is it possible to just get a drink and a small plate? Or do I have to do the whole chef tasting? Going solo and just wanted to check out the place without buying a whole meal.

Hi. It may be possible to get a drink. But as for food, I think the restaurant only offers two tasting menus. suggest you get in touch on social media with them. They were very good.
Is there somewhere the latest menu and the prices?
