Lobster soup was delicious. Unlike lobster soup in Toronto, their soup was a thin broth but very flavourful. The lobster meat in the soup was surprisingly tender. The fish skewers were the stars. Fish was cooked to perfection. My favourite was the monkfish. Cheap eats (2500 ISK for a soup and a skewer, enough for a full lunch) even comparing... More

Great local food, not too pricey, lobster soup highly recommend, all the grill seafood were nice, not posh restaurant but cosy, enjoyed it.

We eventually got a table one lunchtime, to have the famous lobster soup, recommended by Rick Stein . It wasn't for us. Bread was ok though. Pricey for 2 bowls of soup. Very salty. Left 3/4 of the bowl of soup. Make your own mind up though.

We are here twice the vibe is nice and it has a feel of local fishing village. The food is good and relatively reasonably priced (everything in Iceland is super expensive!) We tried the wale as well as their fish skewers

Loved the unique way they cook the lobster soup - it literally cooks from the kitchen to the table so it isn't overcooked. So good. Perfect on a cold day in Iceland!

Most people come here for the lobster soup. You will not be disappointed. We trip the lobster soup at our restaurants during our stay...and this place truly has the best one!

I was not a big fan of the famous soup, but the skewers were amazing. We had two: cod and scallops. Worth a visit if you enjoy seafood. Very relaxed and simple place. You order at the counter, there are a few common tables, but the food is fresh and delicious.

We loved the atmosphere in this tiny restaurant, and the lobster soup was especially delicious. They have a great selection of seafood skewers as well as a vegetable one. Great place to eat!

My friend and I have heard a lot about this place and we were very excited to try their langoustine soup. It did not disappoint. It was very flavourful and you get a fair bit of langoustine meat as well. It is served with bread and butter. Delicious. We also had a fish skewer each, they were cooked to perfection;... More

Recommended by the hostel. Lobster soup is a must. It's beautiful. Variety of skewers - tried the scallop and sea trout - to die for! Also tried the Mink Whale sampler which was lovely. Staff really friendly - even said hi to us when they saw us later in a pub! This restaurant is a must visit
