An evening in Vaasa in this nice small Restaurant in an old cellar. Found it excellent and very finnish. Try the Blinis and the Reindeer. A Clin d‘oeil for the chef : serve the sauce apart.

I was here for an after-PhD party - karonkka. Our group had a separate room. Cozy and good atmosphere. Food was delicious! (Since it is in the basement, not much of a view.)

Bacchus restaurant is just super. We had a dinner and it was just super. Service was also very good and friendly, fellt so welcomed and special. The interior is also special, worth visiting. They have especially 2 or 3 course dinners , recomend, and a...good wine list.More

Went there for Valentine's day dinner. Not crowded, but friendly service. Good quality with European cuisine style menu, from which you can build your own "package". Local, high quality raw materials.

Excellent food at this place. I've been to VAASA many times in my life but never eaten here. They serve lunch as well in the upstairs restaurant ?? If i understood the waitor correctly... But good food and friendly staff, my wife and kids were...pleased as well.More

Once again the lunch on Bacchus is beyond this world! And the waitors keep the tables and buffet clean and tidy. I have never been disapointed when eating lunch here!

Visited with a group of friends. the place is really nice and the atmosphere is different from other places in Vaasa. We had ordered a menu beforehand. The food was really nice, the beef was excellent, best I have ever eaten in Vaasa! It was...easy to make changes based on your diet (some people were vegetarian or low carb). The service was nice, even though there was a misunderstanding and we were forgotten to offer our welcome drinks. The restaurant compensated that ok. It was easy to divide the bills. I definitely recommend this place.More

Very nice basement restaurant. I have a gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian diet and I got a very delicious food in one day notice. I cannot say anything bad about the place!

We had a business dinner in this place before the Christmas 2015. The meals were really, really good, including starters, main course and dessert. I recommend the reindeer portion, it was fantastic with proper selection of Italian wine! The atmosphere was excellent and the serving...was done extremely well. Although there were almost ten of us, all the starters were served at the same time as well as the main courses. When you combine good food, high-class friendly service and cosy atmosphere you get an excellent outcome!More

Visited a couple of times lunch and evening a few times, very good in the evening. Lunch is simple food with good flavours but á la carte on a different level what Vaasa has to offer.

The beef with the bearnaise sauce on Fridays was always a success - before. Now it doesn't keep the same standard anymore. Before the beefs were grilled on a barbeque, but since the renovation there are no bbq anymore and you can taste the difference....To get the beefs brown, I guess they put some coloured spice on them. The taste of the mashed potatoes is not good either. I'm sorry to write this, because this place was one of my favourites before. I hope this restaurant will do better soon - because I know they can!More
