Good pizza, unattentive service

We went here on a busy Friday evening. The place is quite small and all tables were occupied (we got the last empty chairs in the room, just next to the kitchen). The pizzas were really nice, a good amount of fillings and the crust...was crunchy and delicious (though a bit overbaked). The service was disappointing. There were three persons behind the counter, who most of the time did not do anything but stood there. Clearing the tables and delivering pizzas was what they did, but no additional attention was paid to the customers. My wine glass was empty a long time and nobody noticed and came to ask if I want a refill. And yes, we were sitting at the closest table to the counter, so possibilities to notice me having finished both my food and drink were quite good. If we go back here, it will be for the pizzas' sake and we will have it as take away.More

Excellent pizzas

Really like this place, but it is a matter of taste. Great pizzas with very good high quality ingredients.

Good service, but the pizzas were a dissappointment

Sorry to say this, but our pizzas were not delicious. I've got a tuna pizza without cheese. Cold tuna from the tin was put on the pizza after the oven. No taste, no either a nice texture. My dauhter's pizza Margharete did not taste anything....Usually she loves Margarita. My husband's pizza was salami-bacon: full of cheese, grease and salt. Good, if you just have one little bite if it, but the whole pizza, oh no. The service was good, thank you for that!More

So good pizza

Pizza was delicious just like in Italy! Wine was also great. Customer service was good and welcoming! If you are in Vaasa, you have to go there!!

Very authentic taste

We were looking for an authentic italian pizza and finally we did at Marco Polo. A small and welcoming place where to find original raw materials from Italy and everything tastes superlative. Daniele and Nora well done!

Not as good as rated

I had high expectations for the restaurants due to the previous reviews and pictures. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed. The bottom of the pizza was quite hard and thus it was hard to cut with a fork and knife. The bottom...was so hard that my fingers hurted towards the end of the pizza. The ingredients were not high quality. Cherry tomatoes of the pizza were not tasty and the extra goat cheese I order was also not so good.More

Perfecto!

You can only get such a good pizza when the owners put their hearts into it. This is easily in top-5 pizza restaurant in Finland - believe me, I have traveled all over the world hunting for the perfect pizza, this pizza is fully in...same level as the best and the world's oldest pizza restaurants in Naples. Perfecto!More

You won't regret it!

We were about to have band practice and needed to eat before we started. So we thought about what was the closest restaurant with decent food. We decided to go to Pizzabistro Marco Polo, because it was close and the food probably wouldn't take too...long to make. We all had pizza, but the pizzas here aren't just any old pizzas. They are made with love and craftsmanship, at least that's what it seems like. And I'm not sure, but I think it's the only place in Vaasa where you get blanco pizzas (no tomato sauce, if you didn't know). I had one of those, and it was very tasty. Compared to "normal" pizzas you would eat in Vaasa, you already know the taste of the fillings, because they all taste alike. But not here, there's more taste than in a normal pizza. And the service is very friendly and welcoming. Just go eat here, you won't regret it.More

Very good pizza

One of the best pizzerias in town. Lunch time you get lemonade as much as you want. Good tasting pizza anf friendly personnel.

Genuine Italian pizza

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, including Italy. Without a doubt best pizza in Vaasa. Made with fresh and quality ingredients. Authentic tastes and great service. Highly recommended place! P.S. Do try the home made gelato ;)

One of the best pizzas I ever tasted.

Delicious pizzas, very much like the Italian original. You can have a red one with tomato sauce or a white one without. Not a very fancy place but wonderful food and very friendly staff. Thumbs up from us!

Great pizza in nice atmosphere

We had a good dinner experience here. Piccolo size pizza for the kids and supergood ones for us. Nice vibe 👏🏻👍🏻‼️
