Absolutely real good food - and gluten free but so good for anybody. You don’t even know the difference. Better than ” normal” I dare to say. So tasty. So artistic. Nice surroundings. Next to the medieval Castle. Awesome mocktails. Everything was super good.
Located near cruise ship terminals and Turku Castle. Friendly service. Summer terrace. Good juicy well made burgers.
Coeliac’s heaven! My 9yr old loved her gluten-free burger and fries. I had the best avocado pasta ever. Just the perfect amount of chili and lime! Warmly recommended!
Booked a table for the Saturday brunch a week early since the place is usually packet on Saturdays. The brunch food selection is a hipster's dream come true with everything gluten free and organic. The food is delicious although on the protein side would have...preferred a bit more options such as smoked salmon or beef. The place was full so the queue for the food was long all the time. I would recommend to put the warm food table separate from the starters so that people wouldn't have to queue in the same line which is very slow. Overall the quality level is good and the price was decent (22€).More
Absolutely marvellous place. Very nice atmosphere in this restaurant that only serves gluten free dishes. On top of the dish you choose, you can have a complimentary salad, bread, coffee and desert on the side. Had the mince meat steak with cranberry sauce and potatoes...and it was a blast! I highly recommend it (bonus for the view over Turku’s castle).More
They serve lunch, during evening À la carte and also catering. All their food is gluten free. The food taste´s amazing, they even make them selves the bread there every morning, and you can truly taste it. :-) Restaurant in Linnankatu 85 is old brick...building, the building it self and the surroundings are really nice. From the windows you can admire the Turku castle. Personnel is skilled and friendly. This is restaurant where you can experience that warm feeling.More

NFD has had two different restaurants in town, one lunch place outside the city center and a popular brunch restaurant not so far from the dome. The latter doesn't exist anymore, but they've recently opened a new one just opposite the castle. It's become very...popular although it's not been around more than a couple of weeks. They promote themselves as a gluten free restaurant. I'm not into gluten-free, but as I'd good experiences of their previous place, I decided to try it out. I went there around noon just to find the place more or less full. I went there with my wife and son, but couldn't find a table for all of us, so we had to split into two tables. Later we were able to move a bit closer to each other. When you enter the restaurant you first que to the counter where you place your order and pay. They have just a few lunch options, but enough to please most ones. After paying you can que for the small sallad buffet. I found the sallad and dressing really good. The problem is that it's the same que for both the sallad buffé and dessert, which means unnecessary queing. The main course came quite quickly and it was really good and honestly I can't tell it was gluten-free. For dessert there was mareng and marsh mellow that you could dip in running chocolate. Yummy! Overall it was a positive experience in spite of the fact that it was so crowded. I guess it would be wise to come a bit later, maybe after 1 pm.More
This restaurant is now housed in a different building to the previous one which was near the river in Turku. It is in a building on an industrial estate and decorated tastefully inside. There was a substantial buffet with coffee/tea included for under £10 per...head and the quality of the food was very good. What a pity these places don’t open their doors in the evenings or at weekends!More
The buffet lunch was excellent work a great variety of food, with interesting combinations that worked well. Indoor setting and decor is very nice, but sitting outside next to the river is very nice on a sunny day. Vegetarian options were fantastic, Anna's even as...a non veg person, I would've been satisfied to eat that only. Catered very well for large groups also. Will certainly return.More
