Absolutely the best restaurant in turku, with ease. Place in small, cosy, and you feel welcome everytime you visit. Mami has been our go to restaurant for years. Never has it failed to amaze. What a lovely dinner we had at Mami! We found a recommendation of this place in the Lonely planet,and were primarily interested in the view on the river, but found out the food is unbelievable too ! We had the Silky soup, I had the...duck and my partner the fish, both were exceptional !More

As usual my visit to Restaurant Mami filled my earlier expectations. I ordered suggested menu duck made three different ways added w. their wine package. Amazing flavours -I liked it. Serving was professional

Turku is full of good restaurants with a little bit hire price rate than in other bigger cities in Finland, and this is one of the very good dining restaurants in Turku with a little bit expensive pricing. But it was really all worth it....The location of the restaurant is good, it is easy to find and of course the river side is beautiful as well. Service is excellent and food is delicious filling. We found this place by the river and as it was mid week managed to get a table. The food was a bit different so gaspacho with ceviche and bouillabasse but very well made and delicious. The wine list was the same, some less well...known wines but very good.More

It took about one hour to get the food, dish was small and not tasty. Sorry byt the experience wasn't good, I also got sick afterwards.

Chose this restaurant based on their TA ranking, but unfortunately it turned out to be quite a big disappointment. The first thing we noticed was that the noise level inside the restaurant was very high, it only took a couple of tables with some louder...people to make it so loud you had to raise your voice to be heard. We chose the set menu, and the first two courses were OK, nothing more. The main course however was a disaster. Our choice was baby lamb fillet with tapenade and pilaf seasoned with chorizo, and the taste was horrible, a really strange combination. The lamb also lacked taste, had some pieces well done, some not at all, and some something between these two. To be quite honest one of the worst dishes I have ever experienced. On the positive side, when asked if we like the food and we said we don't, the waitress offered to change it to the other available choice. We didn't use that option though as it was getting late, but she gave us a small discount on the bill without us asking for it. I hope they only had a bad night as other people seem to have been satisfied.More

One of the best, or even maybe even the best restaurant that I've visited in Finland. All the portions from starters to dessert were great. And the main course roasted duck was fabulous. Really good wines also recommended with the food. Friendly service. A bit...of expensive place, but still highly recommended!More

Nice location next to the river and basically in City Centre. Cozy interior, friendly service and absolutely delicious food. Vitello Tonnato for starter and then duck as a main course and we were both so satisfied
