Like walking into an eatery somewhere in Vietnam. They haven't done anything to attract you and to step inside. Absolutely nothing. The place is so modest, but at the same thing it feels so original. Yes, I'd been here before and this time I went...here ex tempore with my wife. We first went to the counter squeezed in one corner where we ordered from their very extensive menu. Most of the dishes didn't tell me much, but their menu has pictures which makes it easier to choose. The place is quite small and all the tables were taken when we arrived, but after ordering we were happy to find a table of our own although we'd already got prepared to share a table with someone else. The food was just great. In the end we didn't stay that long as this isn't a place where you enjoy the whole evening. However, I would call it a fast food restaurant either.More

Every time I visit Pho Ngon I feel like being back in Saigon. This is not a place that have tried intentionally to create a Vietnamese atmosphere, it has come naturally. A small big place that serves the best Vietnamese food in town. Today I...came here with my wife and we both had dishes with rice, lime leaves and satay sauce, one with chicken and the other one with tofu. They asked us how hot we like the sauce to be. We went for medium which is already quite hot for a Finn. It tasted so good. The restaurant is very small and today we did share a table with other customers which is fine with us. The popularity ensues that the food is fresh.More

Don´t let the decor fool you. From the outside, it is not impressive. But here, I found some of the best Bun bo Heu. This dish is not on the menu, and they only serve occasionally. I was fortunate to get one, which was excellent....All the ingredients were perfectly in order. Very unexpected in this corner of the world. Gladly recommend this place.More

I fetched two late lunch meals from the restaurant. It took only a few minutes, and I had free coffee while waiting. The space is very small, there were perhaps five tables; not very tempting to sit down and have a lunch, in my opinion,...although everything seemed very tidy and the servive was friendly. We had chicken and beef with rice, it was quite good but certainly not amazing. The portions were not very big but big enough; the price for two meals was 17.80 €.More

Pho Ngon is a small, typical "fast food" Vietnamese restaurant. The food is really good and is made as you go so fresh ingredients and tastes. Good for lunch or take away.

Went for some pho on lunchtime with a friend, a second time for me and first for my friend. The soup (large for 9,5€, small one € less) was just as delicious as I remembered. A huge portion of tasty broth with all of the...usual condiments, bean sprout, lime and such. A very basic hole-in-the-wall kind of place but the food makes You forget the surroundings. Highly recommended!More

There's plentiful of Chinese and Thai restaurants in town, but this is one of the few Vietnamese places. It's a tiny Place and you sometimes have to squeez in, but once you get served (order at the counter) it feels big. This place is particulalry...popular during lunch hours and they don't stay open late, so it's really a lunch place. The popularity ensures that everything is fresh and you sure can find all your favorite Vietnamese dishes. I have noticed that these small places sometimes have problems with their A/C, which means that you smell when you come out. Pho Ngon doesn't have that problem, but if it's really cold outside, you may want to keep your jacket on.More

The best Vietnamise food I have ever had. Good choice with fresh vegetables. Friendly service. The place is too small and in the winter it is really cold inside. That is the only minus.
