Great food, delicious coffee

Charming place with very friendly staff. Highly recommended (+ the neighbourhood is gorgeous). I work just up the street and this is a well-know spot for those who live nearby, always delicious!

Tiny cafe operated by a family

Excellent scrambled eggs

Very cosy place, good value, tasty breakfast, nice staff. If you are looking for a good place to have breakfast in Turku this is the place for you!

Looked nice outside,but breakfast was a dissapointment and the place was not cleaned for a while

Looked nice outside,but the interior was dirty.Dead flies etc everywhere and looked like the place was not cleaned for a while. The breakfast was a dissapointment too.

Lovely cafe with delicious options

This cafe is I think "the spot" for many, and it is going to be for me, too, from mow on. The cakes are homemade and tasty, the lunch is nice and the prices very reasonable (lunch for 6 e including coffee). The interior is also quite unique and decorated with care. I will definitely go there again, and take my friends with me.

A nice spot on the university of Turku

Fabbe's cafe is a good place for take a coffee. The have a selection of pastries. If the day is sunny is a good option spent the time outside, they have some tables.

Shabby chic

This is a very nice place to visit. Fresh bread, mouth-watering pies, daily soup. - The place is small and busy and during lunch time it is not so tidy. The place is not the cheapest one, but some of their cakes are really good. This is really Swedish shabby chic style. It is near all universities and teacher and staff pass by. After 17h you get leftovers for cheaper. If you arrive to Turku by boat take your morning coffee here, walk along riverside and enjoy this nice place

Cute little café with good prices

This was a pleasant surprise when we entered. The prices are cheap, and get even cheaper if you get to go gym during "late lunch". They also offer on the house cakes in that case. Salmon soup was just amazing!

Delicious food, great value

Im a regular customer of this place because of their delicious food and cheap prices. The place is cozy and staff is friendly. Best food in Turku! Especially late lunch is worth trying since you get the whole meal, drinks and sometimes a dessert for 4 euros.

Nice and cozy

It is a very nice and cozy cafe a walking distance from the famous Turku Cathedral. they also serve a good lunch menu at a reasonable price for Finland. the hosts are very welcoming and great. Since its located in the middle of the Abo Akademy Univeristy, it is very lively with people from all over the world.

Amazing genuine café / lunch restaurant in beautiful area

This was one of my favorite hangouts when visiting Turku. Its a family owned café where all the food, cakes etc are made from scratch and with love. The lunches here are a great deal with one meat dish and one vegetarian dish all day + sallad, bread and coffee/tea for about €7. On Friday's -- and when its raining (!) -- they also give you a small dessert for free with your lunch. Each Thursday they serve the traditional Swedish and Finish Thursdy lunch of split pea soup + pancakes with jam and cream. Don't miss out! Also dont miss out on their smoothies, milkshakes and lovely cakes. Or their amazing morning sandwiches ("semla"). It is very popular amongst university employees and students as it is conveniently located next to the Åbo Akademi University Arts' faculty. This makes it a bit crowded at lunch but is still worth it. It is some 15 minutes walk from the center and perhaps 3 minutes from the cathedral. It is located in "old Turku", a beautiful area with old wooden houses and parks.

Charming old-school café (with a modern espresso machine)

Fabbe's is an institution for many people visiting the universities situated in the same neighbourhood. Charming and 'homely' situated in an old wooden villa, but you can get a decent espresso as well.
