Great food and service as well as the restaurant having a very pleasant atmosphere. All dishes were pleasing both to the eye and tastebuds.

Very good basic flavours. The food itself was not very innovative but it was not necessary as everything was delicious. They also have nice cocktail options!

Excellent lunch during ’tourist day’ in Turku. Restaurant is in perfect location by the Aura riverside and has a nice terrace. Good food and extra plus for their own bread ’juurileipä’. Daily fish was tasty and crisply fried, potates not so good, maybe too much...dill. Very friendly and prompt service even though it was busy hours of lunchtime.More

I'd booked a table in advance, we were greeted at the door shortly and shown to our table downstairs. The place was surprisingly spacious and we loved the atmosphere in the bottom floor. We ate the very reasonably priced menu with the cheese and loved...every bit of it. The fish of the day, Arctic char was particularly delicious, as was the rhubarb financier dessert. I'll definitely revisit on my next trip to Turku!More

Excellent food and service. Steak tartar was very good and also their wine paring list is moderately priced but very good selection.

I cannot say enough about this place. I had a 3 course menu plus a cheese course. The pictures say it all...fine dining and terrific presentation in a beautiful outdoor setting. Finland isn't cheap, but at 42 Euros this was a steal (and more reasonable...than similar offerings nearby)!More

Not usually my palate and very fine looking… but everything tasted so yummy! If you choose the three course menu, the dish sizes are smaller (lower price too!). But normal salad as a starter, good bread and main course… we were stuffed with excellent food....Easy access and good tables on the terrace for a wheelchair. Enough space too. Not so much on the inside I think.More

The restaurant is located on the banks of the River Aura, but the narrow frontage provides very few tables with any significant views. The vast majority of the seating is underground in a labyrinth of well lit and relatively intimate rooms. We chose the timing...of our visit so that we could be accommodated during a period of inactivity.. This was indeed the case and we were pleased that we remained isolated for the majority of the visit. The food was satisfactory although I thought my fish main course was a little overcooked. The service very good but course comments and explanations by the staff at the table were difficult to understand due the muffled effect of masks. (This is not a criticism but simply an observation). Overall, staff performance was good, but I was disappointed to have an unrequested bottle of water placed on our table at the end of our meal and a subsequent charge added to my bill. It was only 1€ and I made no mention at the time, but it did not encourage me to leave a small gratuity to the staff. I thought practices like these no longer existed in restaurants of repute. Other diners arrived during the dessert/coffee part of our meal and were placed next to us instead of at other vacant socially distanced tables. This may seem a small insignificant comment, but small thoughtless things matter when making recommendations.More

I had an amazing experience at E. Ekblom. it was a special occasion because I visited this restaurant at the party organized by my company. There were beautiful foods on the buffet but there was not so many vegan option on the buffet. When I...asked for a vegan option, the service person organized vegan dish for me and it was very tasty!! She even organized vegan cakes for me... I highly recommend this place!!More

Very nice place, very friendly staff and top service. Value for the money brilliant with chef's menu. Will be back for sure!
