Tintå is an excellent restaurant by the famous Aurajoki river. The restaurant's selection is diverse. I chose a salmon risotto, and was not disappointed. Very tasty and nicely al dente. The salads were also excellent.

This restaurant is a busy and popular place by the Aura river. The location is obviously great and the interior design is comfortable. We both had pizzas which differed from the typical Italian pizzas by their shape and toppings. We went for salmon pizza and...the shrimp and scallop pizza. Especially the salmon pizza had very Scandinavian taste and we really liked them to be something different. Both of the pizzas tasted very delicious and I would happily order them again. The price was a bit upscale, but today it's common that you need to pay nearly 20€ for good pizza with fresh ingredients in Finland. It gets crowded in the most popular seasons and times so remember to make a reservation in advance if you plan your visit for example on summer weekends. I would recommend this place.More

Lovely riverside pizza restaurant. It was fully booked on a Monday at 6.15pm in July but there is always availability outside for self service ordering. Delicious pizza (we chose king prawn & scallop €19) and it was served promptly.

Pizza and beers with friends in the terrace with a view of the Aura. A good place to remember for outside summer seating. Menus also in English.

Quite small restaurant, but the location is excellent. Has also some tables outside just by the river bank. Pizzas are quite small, but topping was tasty. The bottom layer was a bit disappointment. Something between paper and cardboard. One might consider having a side dish...with the pizza. Maybe fries with a dip. Atmosphere and service was good.More

Lively and lovely restaurant, with incredibly creative pizza combinations even I haven’t seen before! I had the prawn and scallop pizza and it was very good. Happy at the amount of seafood on the pizza. Thin crust with enough sauce and seasoning. My colleagues enjoyed...the meat-based dishes they had whilst I had food envy of the soup one had. Only dinking a star for the “baklava”… tasted fine but that was apple pie 🥧 NOT baklava. The chocolate cake my colleagues had looked divine. Service was excellent and the waitress spoke perfect English.More

I visited with a bunch of colleagues on a busy night – reservations are recommended. My presious visit was years ago, and I was expecting much, but I guess I was a tad disappointed, but the meal was still pretty okay. I had traditional Finnish cabbage...rolls with roasted root veggies. The root veggies would have needed a bit more roasting, but otherwise the dish was okay. Turku is such a great place for restaurant dining, that Tintå is nowadays a solid upper mid-level place. It is a good place to visit if you have a mixed crowd where some people want vegan food (there is always a couple of options on the menu).More

Visited here early Fall. Did not need reservation for afternoon lunch. Service and ordering were easy. Friendly staff, nice wine list. Ordered small pizza's, very tasty. Great river view. Highly Recommend.

Excellent! We tried to make a sameday online booking but the risto was fully-booked. However, we were kindly adviced on the phone that one can come and queue for a table. So we did and got a table on the terrace in ten minutes. It...was lovely to dine there by the river and follow the buzzing street life. Terrace is semi self-service. One orders and pays by the counter indoors but drinks and food are yet served to the table. This worked out very well and service was cheerful, fast and very proffessional all through. We shared teriyaki beef as a starter and had pizzas as a main course. All excellent, even my my gluten free pizza. The ingrediences of pizzas were very high quality and inventive, mine with scampis and scallops. Yum!More

Great food, nice athmosphere and exceptionally good and fast service. What more could you ask for a dinner? Don't forget to make a reservation because Tintå is very popular and quite small.

We revisited Tintå this July. Although very popular and often crowded, the personnel managed to master the clientele very good. The service was fast (according to Finnish standards…) and friendly. The wine selection was good, and the portions very tasty.
