Innovative and easy going restaurant with superb service

Excellent place for quick bite or evening dinner with friends. Tapas as starters were reasonable size and good value for money, especially the goat cheese was really tasty and nice for eyes. If you like liver, you may like to try the liver burger. Tasty, juicy thus not huge portions. Desserts were also superb especially both cheesecakes 😋

The high level of good service is worth mentioning!

We've stopped for drinks a couple of times - never tried their food. Last visit was in July 2020, this year they have even some outside seating with table service. Can't say anything about the food, but the atmosphere and service are worth mentioning as this is one of the most friendly places in Turku, including a safety guard on the door inviting in rather than pushing people out which seems to be the standard of Finnish safety guards these days. The waitresses know their business, can suggest you, serve quickly and always chat a bit and smile.

Local gem in city center!!

If you are traveling in Turku, looking for cosy bar, good kitchen, lovely staff or just warm place to sit and relax, this is the one. Been there and loved it! Try beetroot burger or overcooked beef a’la Aune. Some local beers, short but good winelist, nothing too fancy. Basic local and foreing spirits, quite good whiskey list.

I’ve been in pretty much every top tear restaurant in Turku and I must say this place as a restaurant is average at best. Starter was great but three thin slices of manchego cheese for 8€ is kind of pushing it. With my main course, the menu started fried potatoes and unfortunately what they serve is half a potato unpeeled and half boiled/ half fried. Very mediocre meal and horrible dessert. One thing was very annoying, the waiter came every five minutes to try to sell extra drinks non stop. Total bill, over 100€ for 60/70€ worth of food.

Don’t go with children

They dont have a childrens menu, and I misinterpreted the waitress saying they could fix a childrens burger, but what we got was an adult burger for full price. 633 SEK (!!!!) / 55EUR for an adult and a child with a hambuger and a drink each -grotesque. The hamburgers were nithing special and the potato wedges they were served with were not good. The waitress was nice and attentive. Go someplace else like Naughty burgers- less than half price and better hamburgers.

Beautiful place, great food

I sometimes travel solo and when I do, the place I eat is very important. Aune was most welcoming, brought me a wonderful meal and the staff was friendly and polite. Extra points: nice walls with guitars and photos of dogs, what more does one need?

Cosy, tasty and original

Dinner with friends. We went for the multi Tapas approach with various small dishes, nicely presented and very tasty. Nice selection of craft beers and drinks. A fun place to eat, English language menus available.

The atmosphere and service were great, but the food just wasn't there. I ordered a burger that came with fries and it was overcooked. The dijon dip was a bit boring. Great place for an evening hangout or such, if one of your friends is hungry, but you're mostly drinking wine or so.

Great food, service and ambiance

Really enjoyed the food and vibe here ... in fact we stopped back to have a couple of beers in the charming "lounge" area having had dinner at a table the night before just to enjoy some more of the chilled and welcoming atmosphere. Had we not wanted to try another restaurant being that our time in Turku was limited, we would have gladly had the full Aune experience again. Highly recommended.

Service and food were great!

Most of it was closed and Aune was fully booked. We were still offered a smaller table not intended for eating at, and we gratefully accepted this. We appreciated that we were told that there could be a little longer wait for the food to arrive, but it was easy to get the food within a reasonable time. We had burgers, steak and halloumi. Everything was very well prepared and very tasty. We got a warm reception with very good service. Overall, the visit was one of the best restaurant experiences in a long time. Highly recommended!

Think twice before ordering tap water :)

We ordered several starters and after almost 45 min hamburgers arrived. Food was obviously cold. The waitress was unfriendly. Moreover, we needed to pay 3€/person for tap water (total 12€)!!! Next time, I would like to be informed in advance that tap water and any other drink costs the same. I have been travelling around Finland and this is the first place I had to pay for tap water.

Worth to visit

Slowly cooked beef neck on the bed of sauce and flavoured cabbage and crispy rustic potatoes. Simple but just a perfect experience with silk & spice red blend. Cosy restaurant and frindly staff.

Best burgers in town

Hands down best burgers in town! I’m a local and have been eating in many restaurants here. For some reason we visited Aune the first time just now and didn’t have any expectations. The burgers were delicious and also fries were fresh and crispy. As a sauce lover I loved both basil-aioli as well as chilimayo. We will be back again!

We stopped here for some food. The hamburger was very good, thick, and served on a pretzel roll. We also had what appeared to be fish sticks, which were very weird tasting. The potatoes that came with both of them were very good. There were mostly locals there, which generally means the food is up to par.

Food was OK but not amazing. Very cozy atmosphere and really friendly staff. We had a mix of tapas for starters and different mains - liver was very good, fish burger and fried chicken were disappointing
