All reviews halloumi lebanese bread avocado burger baba ganoush tsatsiki baklava vegetarian food quick bite super tasty small restaurant take away railway station nice atmosphere friendly service meze plate portions
Nice and fresh Lebanese food, with good mezzes and vege burgers and friendly and personal service.
We had take away (ordered by phone) for a family with kids. The food was ready on time and it was easy to choose from the clear menu on...the website.
The starters tabouleh and the baba ganoush were tasty and fresh, though small. The goat and halloumi cheese mezzes were delicious! The rye bread falafel burgers were tasty, though a bit hard to eat for kids. Some of the falafels were quite dry and less crispy, but that may be because of take away.
Definitely a place to come back for a healthy and tasty eat!More
We had tzatziki and falafel for starters and two maze. Everything was good and filling. Baba ganoush was simply delish, next time I will order that as starter. Tzatziki and hummus were quite mild and would benefit an extra kick.
Very satisfying! We will definitely...visit again when in TampereMore
Food was excellent, very helpfull and friendly staff.
What else you need from restaurant?
It’s really worth of money.
This kind of vegeterian food i can really eat.
I don’t know why some places try make some kind of steak from vegetables?
We had booked a table beforehand which turned out to be a smart move as the restaurant was otherwise fully booked for the night.
We shared a very tasty baba gaboush as a starter and each of us had a meze platter as a main...course. Everything we had tasted great and the dishes were pretty. Portion size was big enough especially together with the starters. We finished with mint tea and baclava.
The restaurant is small but has a nice atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. All in all great dining experience in Zeytuun!More
I lived in Tampere in the late eighties when being a vegetarian was a challenge - it was actually best to notify restaurants in advance that you didn’t eat meat. On a positive note, vegetables were seen as cheap so the one-off special veggie dishes...cooked by chefs were often charged just the cost of a vegetable side dish!
Delighted how times have changed since those days - the no 1 restaurant in town is now a vegetarian one and the lunch deal and ‘burger Monday’ still offer excellent value for money!
Visited both branches of Zeytuun for lunch, total of three times and food was great, tried the Zeytuun bread, halloumi meze and rye bread burger and would recommend all. Decor and music add to the ambiance and the service is friendly.
Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip- thank you!More
