A friend and colleague of mine has this thing for waffles, and when we were both in Tampere, he wanted to visit this café. He had been there before, and he asked me if I wanted to join him. I saw no reason why not,...so we walked there after lunch. If you ask me, the only thing I would have to say against this place is the location, it's not in the very center of Tampere, so unless my friend had known where it was, I probably never would have gone there. The atmosphere in this small café was absolutely lovely, very charming and an old school look to it. But the waffles...wow! I totally loved mine, pretty much as good as home made waffles, or even better. Next time I'm in Tampere, I will definitely revisit this place!More

Or maybe the tiniest house! Such an adorable little place, we all loved it. Had savoury mushroom waffles for "mains" and sweet waffles for dessert, with hot chocolate and excellent tea. We loved everything! Very friendly service, too.

Arrived in Tampere staying at the Raddison wanted something quick and tasty. Trip advisor struck gold. Service, food, atmosphere really right on. I had the Salomon waffle followed by a Nutella one. Thoroughly enjoyed.

We visited this waffle cafe with our American guests and we all really loved it. Tasty waffles, many different choices and friendly service. We will definetily go again!

This is a hidden gem. You can gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian, salty, sweet and other types of waffles - and they taste great! Great service and I consider the process reasonable too (6-8.5€ each). Great cardamom coffee to try. Good for just the sweet...tooth or lunch. I warmly recommend.More
