Henrik’s is said to be the best brunch restaurant in Tampere ..... I wouldn’t agree . Saturday brunch is more like a Sunday lunch in a old fashioned countryside restaurant . Something you would visit with your elderly parents . Lacks ambience and a modern...twist . Very ordinary selection of appetizers. The salad was probably cut the day before ( had brown edges ) and the small bite sized feta squares were dry . The service was attentive though and prices reasonable .More

Wanted to visit restaurant near Tampereen Työväen Teatteri before the Billy Elliot show and Tasted the Menu Henriks @Henriks. Service was good and professional. Onion soup with parmesan biscuit: Good, a bit sweet taste. Sauvignon blanc was a good choice for the soup and gravlax....Limoncello gravlax, horseradish and brioche: very good flavors. Duck breast, beet root, duchesse potatoes and liquorice root: Excellent flavors , French wine (Pinot noir) was a very good choice, it had a stronger taste than Pinot noir's usually have. Finnish cheeses: Tasted good but nothing really special. Chocolate pie with cream cheese sorbet and oranges: Good flavors , sorbet combined well with other ingredients. As a summary, service is good and dishes were either good/very good/ excellent. Wines matched well with food. The place is near theatre and it was worth of visit.More

Nice relatively small place - knowledgeable personnel. Exiting A' la carte - well combined tastes. I can warmly recommend this place!

Menus are clear. (At least In English and in finish) You may have a separate room which enables discussions and privacy. Service people were helpful and polite offering a pleasant evening in good hands. The food itself was good maybe even excellent depending what you...ordered and the way of cookery you prefer. Pricing of the long menu with whole set of vines was reasonable. In the end save space for a desert to finish the meal with pleasure.More

Restaurant is well located and gives immediately a warm impression when entering. We selected the standard five course dinner with pairing wines. The choice was good, the dinner overall tasty, quality good and visually tempting. The five courses a little on the heavy side for...us, but that's naturally always very personal. Wine selection ok, but nothing too special. The service was attentive, maybe too active and a little amateurish. Room for improvement is clearly in the pace of the service. The customer would appreciate more time to enjoy the food, the wine and the atmosphere. In our case a new course was on the way when the existing one was hardly finished and wine glass still half full. But overall one of the best restaurants in Tampere !More

This restaurant is definitely one of the best in Tampere. When wanting a super delicious food with the best service in town, in a very pretty small restaurant, then this is your place. We had three course dinner here, celebrating a birthday and cannot fault...anything, just planning when to go again. Very good value for the money.More

We step into the restaurant and athmosphere was calm and sophisticated. There was only 4 ladys and us, even it was Friday evening! We ordered glass of cava and dry martini for aperitives. Both were good, specially fruity cava. With food I had fruity and...crisp riesling from Germany. Nice surprise! Then food, first we had amuse, cold potate salad with salmon, simply & good! I had as starter scampi with pepper-onion jam and my daddy had veal with butternut squash. My dish was okay, there was too much vinegar in radish what made the starter taste very acid. Veal was very good. Main course; Salmon 43 was okay, I think it was little bit overcooked. Still integrity was very well presented and flavours was balanced. Duck confit was smooth and tender. Plus points: duck was Finnish! Overall good dinner. Service was polite and very friendly. Waitress has a good knowledge of wines and foods, like I expected she has to have. Henriks is very nice place to enjoy quality food & wine. I will return when it's time to have asparagus.More
