Whilst having a few hours in the city (few years ago) between trains, my wife and I discovered Pyymäen Omared by accident, being only 5 mins from railway station. Now, on every visit to the city we make a point of visiting for coffee / lunch. Pyymäen Omared is cozy with wonderful ambiance. Staff very helpful “in perfect English, like most Finns” and with pricing that very competitive.

Amazing value for money at 10,90€ their weekday breakfast was (even gluten free) better than some of the weekend brunches. Very fresh and a good selection; I had to skip the porridge and yogurt because there were so many other options.

In my opinion, this place is great. It’s very classy but also cozy at the same time. The coffee tastes great, and they have a wide selection et different food 🥘 and desserts 🧁 available, at a reasonable price. 👍😁

We visited here with my family. We had four pieces of different sort of cakes. My piece (a carrot cake) was the best. Ecological coffee which they serve is also great. Atmosphere is also really cozy. Highly recommended

This is definetly must to visit cafe if you are visiting Tampere. Their are offering cakes etc. and also sandwiches and light lunch meals. The athmosphere is great and the cafe might be full during busiest times. They also offer buffet breakfast which is around 10€ during weekdays. The service is great!🌸

This cafe is a precious pearl in Tampere. So pretty and cosy, with delicious everything. Just round the corner from the main street, close to the railway station.

Just basic four star hotel breakfast. Fresh elements. Fruits, bread, vegetables, cheese, porridge... Thats is quite small palce so it might be full. But if you are searching place for breakfast that is one perfect option.

Beautiful vitrine full of good looking cakes. You can also preorder cakes to home. Ordered raspery cheesecake and it was very tasty. Two roast of normal coffee (dark roast was good) and wide selection of special coffees, some juice and smoothies. I enjoyed the interior design which made place warm,cosy but not too cluttered.

This seemed to be a popular cafe in the afternoon. But it is not a surprise. Excellent cakes. I chose a salad with coat cheese. Very good. "Coat cheese moussé" was excellent as well as dressing.

If you are looking nice cafe place near by city centrum, Pyymäki is by far the best. Prices are the same level as in other places the area. But quality and selection is best of Tampere. You can buy fresh daily baked bread, cakes, desserts, macaronis, pies, salads, stuffed breads, lunch... Basicly everything you need! Also wine and other drinks. There is tables inside and terrace. Very popular place, but there will always be a seat. Just go and enjoy.

This is "high standard" cafe. Modern decoration, good music and great macarons.
You can have a light salad lunch or take a delicious sandwitch with different fillings.
Pyymaen Oma serve alcohol also, so you can have cafe & avec if u like!
