The place has nice views, we took coffee and cake. The cakes were bit too sweet and "industrially made" tasting, also a bit overpriced for the quality. I was expecting bit more from a Fazer café, was just a normal place.

I visited here with my partner for a coffee and cake, we ended up getting a drink and leaving as the prices were extortionate. The food looked nice but nothing special and definitely not worth the money. Only plus side is it has an accessible toilet.

Good coffee restaurant in Tampere city

Located centrally in the middle of Tampere main shopping street. Good coffee, suitable for example for breakfast-brunch buffet. Convenient meeting place.

Didn't meet expectations

Dropped in for hot drinks. The cappucino and hot chocolates were just and just warm and cooled quickly. The cappucino was totally tasteless. The cheese croissants were ok, a little dry. The service was smileless, otherwise polite enough. The decor was very nice, but that didn't salvage the experience.

Not worth the money, overpriced.

Extremely overpriced what you can see in the picture was nearly 15 Euro the coffee was mostly ice and the cake was ridiculously small the quality was just okay, so not recommended at all people just go for the hype and because of the name that is not worth it.

Lunch at Kitchen and Cafe, Tampere

The lunchsoup was some kind of Asian currysoup, how ever the taste was mediocer and the bread was some what dry. I will not recommend anyone to go here for a tasty lunch.

Modern Cafe

A very modern style cafe with a lot of young customers. Did go there for a afternoon coffee and cake. Very noicy place and the staff could not find time to clear tables all though they were standing 2-3 just talking!!! We got our coffee which were close to cold which absolutly is not ok at an price of 4,00 Euro pr cup! My last visit there.

Nice Cafe but nothing special

The Fazer Cafe is well located in the city center and got a nice view. It´s bright and you can also work in this cafe. We liked the space and the design. You get coffee, cake and pastries but we wouldnt recommend the cake. Its a nice coffee spot but not as special as you may think because of the name.

Peaceful and elegant cafeteria

They have friendly personnel and tasty delicious pastries with a cuppa tea or coffee. The location is nice beside the Hämeensilta bridge and near the Central Square. The atmosphere is relaxed and the clients are of all ages.

The breakfast has gotten much worse

I visited Fazer Cafe Tempo last year for breakfast, now it was nothing like that. One thing you really expect from a breafast is fresh bread, expecially when Fazer is also known to have many bakeries. The breakfast was very dry, I suppose it was leftover from yesterday or day before. This was very disappointing. There were no croissants at all, wich was also quite a surprise. Before they have been serving also some cakes to enjoy with the morning coffee. Now there were only some salty liquorice doughnuts and coconut brownies, wich really didn't feel very tempting right in the morning. The price of the breakfast was almost 14€, so we really expected some "extra" to be included. In other restaurants you're going to get the same breakfast with much cheaper price. We won't be visiting this place again.

My favorite cafeteria chain

I have visited Fazer cafeterias both in Helsinki, Vaasa and Tampere. The selection of cakes and fancy cakes is always very good. However, I always have the same favorite: hazelnut triple chocolate cake. It is extremely delicious! Fazer Café Hämeenkatu (Tampere) is situated next to Mokkapuisto (Mocha Park). There are also other cafeterias in the same block. So the park has a good name. Besides cakes, Fazer Café Hämeenkatu also serves salads, toasts and lasagne (in winter also salmon soup). Breakfast buffets are served on weekdays (7.30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m.) and brunch buffets on Saturdays and Sundays (10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.). I will continue visiting Fazer cafeterias in different cities.

Great pit shop

Was visiting Tampere today and fancied a quick cake and coffee break. This a great find not far from the train station, about 10 mins walk and on the Main shopping Street of Tampere. They serve all food and drinks fresh. The staff are welcoming and helpful in anyway they can. Easy access and wheel chair/ buggy friendly too. I do recommended this place, as they is lots of seating area to relax and spend as much or as little as you like.

Great Place to Grab a Good Bite

This cafe has a good location and a nice atmosphere where one can grab a good bite. The staff are friendly (our server was bubbly). One can also sit by the window with a view of the river.
