My ceasar salad with shrimp (18e) had 5 shrimps on it, and the whole salad was overloaded with mayonnase. My brother ordered ceasar salad with breaded chicken(18e) and the chicken was clearly from the freezer they sell in supermarkets. You could get better from McDonalds....My fiance had tenderloin steak, which was ok, but the potatoes and sauce were far from what you would expect to get for 34euros. Also the customer service was bad, when we asked for a missing napkin, the waitress brought one and asked rudely if we could cope now. Another waiter came to clear our table and asked how did we liked the food, and when I made a comment about the extra mayonnase on the salad, he simply said "oh, ok" and continued clearing the table. The place is nice and the location great, but food is bad and terribly overpriced.More

Located in historical harbour building and decorated with style suiting stuff this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Waitress was friendly, had a good Sense of humour and good service attitude. I ordered hamburger which was very good, contained medium beef and blue cheese. Definitely this...wasn’t myladt visit to Kaisla.More

For the prices this restaurant is a complete rip-off. A 16 euros salmon soup was tasteless, poorly put together imitation of a elementary school lunchtime horror. My friends food was not better by any standards, so for comfort we ordered a dessert without seeing the...menu, just consulting the waitress. The ”blueberry cheesecake” was a miserable looking and horrible tasting 2 days old pie, but the worst thing was the attempt from the kitchen to make it look like a restaurant level dessert. 9,5 euros for it made the dessert look like a joke.More

Visited with a friend for listening a band and two singers. For audio entertainment the place is great, but... the service in Kaisla restaurant is poor. Maybe there is too few waitresses, I don't know. Getting someone to our table to receive our food and...drinks order was guite impossible. Waiters popping up bringing something but just are not aware of customers needing service. We went inside to the desk and got what we wanted. Next round I went inside again. One waiter was cleaning something from the floor. Took a look at me and left out. I went to a queue outside. Loong queue, took looong time to complete one drink order. This place is not having good service!!! Food (snails) was great. Wines good price/quality. Audio performance great! (where are window glasses of the band stage area?) Still recommend. But be patient!More

Beautiful hot and sunny summer afternoon perfect setting for a late lunch; great expectations (previous visits). Not a huge crowd, so this would be good. Menus were given ok, but then nothing. After some 20 minutes I went inside to ask for service. Got the...orders in, again nothing. After 30+ minutes we got the orders, and they had been around for some time before getting to our table. At no point in time while we were there, were we asked how we were doing and whether we wanted e.g. more water. For the check I had to go inside again to ask for it. Verdict: not going back. There are plenty of choices in downtown, where customers are served.More

On a beautiful Wednesday evening we decided to go for a couple of drinks after a picnic at the above park of Nasinkallio - about 14 people. We got our first glass of wine, and nobody told us, that they are going to close the...place at 9:30 pm (21:30). When we went to pick up another drink at 9:32, we were told, that they are closed and "they also need to get to sleep" - at 9:30 pm on beautiful, sunny Finnish summer evening!!!! Nothing helped, and we had to go to another place for the second drink. No wonder there were very few people in this place. Owners should really think about this.More

Nice environnement inside and outside. In some cases slow service. Generous main courses, only exception - the cheese sticks... €5,- / portion... Check out the picture.

This place is open only during summer. It has indoors space too but mostly it is a place where people go on a nice day to sit and dine on the very nice terrace. The restaurant is located by lake Näsijärvi right across amusement park...Särkänniemi. The service is friendly and the food is excellent with reasonable prices.More

On our way to hugely popular Särkänniemi Amusement Park and Näsinneula Tower, we decided to stop here for a drink. Nice terrace over looking lake, Tower and those rides in Särkänniemi. Friendly waiter, sunny day and cold drink, so nothing to complain about. They also...have live music/concerts there during weekends and night time, so probably nice place for serious partying too.More
