We had been contemplating which of Tampere's steak restaurants to visit, this being our selected choice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm and inviting and even with plenty of seating available, privacy feels like it is maintained well. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and seated quickly. The staff were all very professional, polite and exceptionally quick. The menus were explained to us in great detail, without being pretentious. We opted for starters of muscles and the beef tartar. These came unexpectedly quickly and were delicious. The flavours in both were strong and complimentary for their respective dishes. For the main we opted for the horse, sirloin and tenderloin, vegetables, fries and the peppercorn and beárnaise sauces. After the starters being so good I was shocked that these were even better. The steaks melt in your mouth and were cooked to absolute perfection. Literal food porn. For dessert we choose the chocolate brownie. As with the rest of the meal these were excellent. All the flavours so rich and full. We took the house red with the meal and was very happy with that choice. It complemented the meal perfectly. Considering the quality of the meal the overall price was reasonable. We will 100% be visiting this establishment again in the, hopefully not too distant, future. Amazing!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in this centrally located restaurant. We were lucky to have Krisu as our waiter; he did a great job introducing us the philosophy of Huber. We gladly followed his recommendations when choosing our dishes. After the delicious tomato and mozzarella appetizers we had three kinds of meat: horse sirloin, grilled pork neck and beef cheeks. They were fantastic, especially the marinated and slowly cooked cheeks. As sides we had roasted potatoes and luscious charcoal grilled white cabbage. The meal was finished with some home made vanilla ice cream and coffee. The price for the whole meal including mineral water was 87 euros, which I consider to be more than reasonable. A strong recommendation!

The entrecote was superb! We love good meat and particularly entrecote, which is our favorite piece. The high expectations were met, well done!
The rest (sides, service, drinks) was average. The waitress pushed for ordering more dishes and sides than we felt like, which is a bit unnecessary. A credit to her for giving a chance to taste the three different red wines available by glass. However, they were all served in the same glass and at room temperature, which pretty much ruin the chance to appreciate their quality and any taste differences. From our experience it would seem that all the red wines served by glass were served too warm. It was not a particularly warm day and the restaurant was busy so that should not be an excuse.

We visited Huber on saturday evening in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis. The Restaurant was appriximately 75 % full but it didn't seem cramped. We were able to talk with each other without rising our voices. The staff wore masks but patrons were maskless.
The staff was very knowligable about the wines and offered tasting for both of us, which is a rarity. They were helpful in selecting the wine and provided valuable insight for each of the options.
We had shared starter dish and main course. Here the main course is always shared. You select the different types of meats and sides/sauces to share.
All of the food was excellent and I would recommended this restaurant to all.

Best steakhouse in Tampere.
Went there with friends, we had a mix platter consiting of dry aged dairy cow sirloin and regular beef tenderloin. I also ate french fries and some dessert. The meat was amazing and their fries were maybe the best i have ever had.
Only downside was that this place is a bit pricey, but in my opinion its worth it.
Total bill was 85€ and it included 200 grams of beef, 2 sauces, fries, 2 drinks and a brownie with ice cream.

We were yesterday eating there and the dryage was so chewy I couldnt get it through my throat. Potatoes were black as a coal and the taste was just weird.
They said they can bring another dish to cover the dryage and they brought entrecote wich was also wery chewy. In the end we still had to pay for the entrecote. But its fine because I wanna tell everyone just that this restaurant is not worth visiting at all.
The waitress told us that the minimum we have to order is 300 grams but then in the end it was only 240grams of the meat. It was all just overly hyped for some reason.
I don’t know is it that they can fool finnish people but I am pretty sure the meat is not good and its cooked badly.

Huber is known for it's meat but also the portobello is very good. But what really raised them above other meat restaurants was their sides. All good and tasty and work on their own as well. Their dry aged meat was a disappointment and so was their dessert options.

Waiters were casual but professional, and efficient even during (Covid) full house.

First time there. Nice atmosphere on a wednesday evening buzzing with people. Had no reservation but were found a table for three luckily. Service was good and prompt. I only had toast skagen as i am not a fan of red meat. It was actually very good but probably the smallest I have ever eaten. The two others shared a 300 gram steak with accompaniments. Nothing eventful. I can grill an entrecote steak and make a far better pepper sauce than the runnny liquid they served. The wines were quite another story. We had three glasses (10 cl) of champagne to start with, I stared at the small dose of 14 euro liquid in my glass without saying a word. With the meal we each had a 24 cl glass of wine, red wine 32 per glass and my white 23 euros per glass. Just for fun at home I measured the 10 cl and 24 cl into glasses to actually see what they should look like, what we had at the restaurant was nowhere near that and at those ridicululous prices. As a typical finn did not say anything but really felt like being ripped off. Will definitely not go again. I do not mind paying for what I feel is worth it but this was not. Invoice over 200 euros.

Dryaged meat had no really feel of dry aged.
It only felt dry and dense.
Meat was grilled nicely, but still felt like fat free budget cut.
For price and meat I rate it this experience poor.

We came on friend’s birthday to eat. Atmosphere is nice. Casual style, bright lights, a kitchen is seen. The food was was really good and the price was excellent! We ate 3 different steaks, potatoes, tomato salad, cauliflower+peanuts, 2 dressings, 3 beers and 2 espresso +ice cream. Everything was perfect. Ice cream dressing was quite unusual - smoked beef fat.. Worth to go, good experience!

Best restaurant visit for a while. We didn`t have table reservations but luckily there was table for us. Service was extremely good at the very beginning. And the food; that was amazing. You can choose amount of meat you want and what kind of meat You want. This is a must You have to try.

What a great meatery concept! And the products match thi greatness. Fantatic service is the icing on the cake. Need to mention that our night wasn't very busy, but I would expect the quality to remain regardless. Recommendation!

Great steaks that were succulent and full of flavour. The kitchen claims to send them out medium rare but ours were medium. The service was very patchy. Long wait to be given menus and a distinct absence of smiling faces amongst the waiting staff brings the overall rating down.

I have visited Huber at least 60 times since 2016 and been 110 % happy every single time.

Food was delicious. Best steak i’ve ever had. We tried entrecote and dry age beef. Staff helped us with food and drink choises. Cant complain, 5/5 for sure.
