Super nice place… small bar/restaurant, guys very passionated and a lot of product knowledge, cooking from the middle of the bar, nice food nice drinks nice atmosphere. Highly recommended if you like nice and cozy. I wish they were located in Eindhoven (NED)!! compliments

We were on our way back to the hotel, when we noticed this small, cozy yet lively looking restaurant near the railway station. Having been in Japan as an exchange student, this somehow recalled the experience of finding a hidden gem in the middle buzzling...city. Of course Tampere and Tokyo or Osaka are quite distinct cities, but the vibes the places gave out were very similar. Getting in to the restaurant we were greeted with such enthusiasm, which I have not received in Finland prior to this. Unfortunately we were quite exhausted and just eaten, so we settled for glasses of wine. These, however, were perfectly picked by Marko (I guess?) according to our preferences. I would have loved to stay in Tampere for one more night, so I could have spent in this place, but the time is scarse so this is all for now. I will definitely return here as soon as I have the possibility.More

Very good food that is cheap for the quality. Friendly but unobtrusive staff. Wine, drinks and beer selection is very good. Maybe not the biggest selection,but what they have is good. Menu is short, clever, seasonal and changes often. We have visited many times and...have never been disappointed.More

Restaurant Kajo was fully booked, so we chose their "little sister". It turned out to be a good choice. Friendly staff and really tasty, modern food. We took a three courses dinner to share, and we left happy. Good and not main stream wines.

Even though this is not resturant, more like wine bar easy going venue - the food is great! Just few items in menu, changing all the time by season etc.. Proper food, well prepared, delicious! Great service too! If you want more, a full dinner,...they have restaurant next door as well.More

Until very recently, Tampere had only one “proper” wine bar, that is Santé, so this wine bar arrives in a time of high demand..yet indeed it represents more than just an alternative! The place, ambience, quality, service, location, and style are alchemically mixed in near-perfect...balance, elevating the wine bar scene in Tampere to the next, professional level. The cocktails are as good, and even the bread! The bar takes great advantage of its sister restaurant, Kajo, a gastronomic wonder, in offering probably the best cheese/bread selection I have ever had in this city. The bartenders are expat-friendly and are very talented (one of them is actually Greek! so be confident about his wine recommendations). Kajon miesten uusi paikka on samaa linjaa: erinomainen ruoka ja palvelu. Risotto loistavaa ja viinit. new place on Kajo is on the same line: excellent food and service. Risotto great with wines.

First time here, just excellent wine. Second time was we came for dinner. Loved the food so much. Perfect combination of flavours. Totally loved it.
