Few years, max 4, ago visited and worth all the pennies stretched in our wallets. We ordered the main course and the waitress came bringing us new dish for five different occasions. And each time a long poem of storytelling for each dish. As my...late best friend said, when describing him this evening at C. Said: the more they explain the dish, the more expensive it will be! We visited C with some reservations. Insted, we got wonderful food, excellently paited wines, personal service and a great dinner. Real local food with a keen aesthetic eye.

I can highly recommend C. This is the best of the two real fine dining restaurants in Tampere. The servings are tasty and beautiful. This restaurant is an excellent choice if you want to enjoy tasty and beautiful food with perfectly paired wine. The sommelier...is fantastic. C also provides delicious and imaginary non-alcoholic pairing with local ingredients. You should definitely book four hours of your schedule and try the "seurustelumenu". It is worth it. C is hard to recognise from street and it is meant to be like that, when in and the selection of dishes flow one by one to your table, it is great fireworks of tastes the chef has created artistically that positively surprises everyone. Pricey...but eorth of it!More

We had nice dinner with 6 courses and still in addition to this and other 3 small courses from the kitchen. This time we did not choose wine package thought we drank nice Pinot Noir from Gumpolskirchen, Austria - well chosen... or good recommendation. Really...good and friendly service.More

We spent four hours here tasting the most innovative, perfect small dishes with wines. Everything was first class: the atmosphere, look, taste, staff. This restaurant is such a hidden gem! The pure ingredients combined with seasonal fresh innovative dishes is truly magnificent and worth of visit!

Food was tasty and delicious, as well as well prepared with good taste combinations. Got the 6 course tasting menu and wine pairing, but unfortunately, while the wines themselves were good, the pairings with the dishes could have been a lot better. Additionally, while the...place had good gins, which we took for appetizers, I would have preferred to have some more spices in the gin and tonic. Lastly, while the food was delicious, it was a pity that the restaurant fell for the Finnish/Nordic cultural habit of serving the food and wines way too quickly after our previous plates, leaving no free chill-out time and time to finish our wines before next ones were poured.More

All the other positive reviews are 100% correct. No point in repeating everything here. I have often been disappointed in Finnish "fine dining" places but not here. Superb food made using local ingredients, really friendly and professional service and as many have mentioned, the wine...pairings are brilliant. Last but not the least, it is all reasonably priced, including the wines, which is not easy to find in Finland. Hope to visit again soon!!!More

Beautiful small restaurant close to railway station. We ate full menu with wine menu to go with it. All food was really good. Beautifully made food. Excellent wine selection! Staff was really friendly. Highly recommend for couples dinner!
