Have had lunch multiple times as takeaway from this restaurant. Food is very tasty and rich in flavours, not "basic kebab". Service ok, understandable that on lunch hours they have hurry. Definitely worth of 10€ to pay the lunch items.

Small restaurant at the mall near railway station. Offers kebab and falafel. Portions are large and taste good. You won't leave hungry. Price is alright about 10e.

I had the chicken meze plate and it really was sensational with really fresh ingredients and a large portion. I went at lunch and it was €10 for the meal as well as a coffee which came with a little chocolate. The waitress and staff were all lovely and I’d really recommend you head by!

Really good food, especially love the chicken pita bread. Deserve an extra star for that spiciness that the red pepper gives to the meal. One of my favourite places in Tampere!

Excellent food and super friendly staff! Delicious and big chicken pita sandwich was worth 10 euros and childrens 7 euros portion was more than enough for 11 years old boy!

Awesome Food with a good, small selection of meze/kebab to choose from. You can get a plate, bread or roll variety and I'd personally go for the plate since it has a nice balance of meat and vegetables and the sauces are amazing

I have eaten here at least dozen of times. I can highly recommend falafel pita, it is big enough and full of different ingredients that work together to give your taste buds party. Chicken and falafel pitas are little too dry for my taste.
One of the key things in Baba's is the service. It is fast, friendly and memorable.
I can highly recommend Baba's.

I've heard that Babas has the best falafel on town. I agree, but I also love the chicken döner. Baba's the best - even though the location in a shopping centre is not the coziest.

I had a meze plate for lunch and it was colourful, interesting, tasty, filling, pretty healthy and meatless! Have to say that for a meatless portion, this was really good. There were plenty of lentils, sesame seeds and chickpeas plus crunchy and still juicy enough falafel to replace the animal protein. Hummus was yummy, too. I was positively surprised by the sesame-seed-covered eggplant which was crispy in a nice way. Couscous and the salads, sort of tabouleh and fatoush, were perky, too. Thank you, this was great!

Baba's Kitchen keeps it simple. They serve beef, chicken or falafel. No burgers or pizzas. My favourite is the falafel that the owner rightfully calls the best in town.
It is served with all kinds of meze: hummus, grilled zucchini, peas, salad, ezme, couscous, tzatziki... The price-quality is excellent and a fresh ground coffee is included.

We stopped for a lunch on Saturday with my boyfriend and took falafel plate (12e). The falafel was e x c e l l e n t and plate was filled with fresh and tasty ingredients. And what made the lunch experience even more better was the owners "vibes" and funny comments: "can you kiss for a second while I take the carbage out?".

Great food and really friendly ervice. This is a small place so be aware of crowd on lunch time. Meze plate is vegetarian and very tasty. Simple surroundings for good meal.

Great service, superb you could say. The Kebab is, by far, the best I have had in Finland. If you want a great lunch, visit.

Be ready for a mouthwatering experience - Baba's Kitchen delivers on all fronts. I regularly come here for lunch as they have very generous portions and the falafels are to die for. The guys are very friendly and happy to accommodate any request. I had couscous switched to a gluten free option with zero hassle. Also a vegan option for tzatziki is available so you can enjoy a full vegan meal here.
Overall great value for money!
