Lovely dog-friendly café near the harbour, serving wonderful cakes and the most fabulous chai lates. The beetroot and chilli macha late was to die for!

I tried first a banana-cinnamon-coconut-cashew porridge for breakfast and it was the most delicious porridge I've ever had. Returning the second day I had an avocado-ham-egg porridge for lunch, which sounded wild but tasted, again, super good. Will definitely be coming back whenever visiting Tampere.

We visited Mama Bear in the late morning on a sunny weekend to get some breakfast. Upon entering we received good service right away and got help selecting our dishes. It's main speciality are porridges so we decided to give it a try. I personally...am not used to eating porridge but I could tell that if there was a lot of sugar added, the dish would maybe be a bit tastier but of course not as healthy. In case of visiting: the biggest portion really fills you up, however we went for some raw cake in their offer which was straight up delicious and refreshing. We are leaving the place very satisfied and just might return when in town next time.More
