Delicious breakfast/lunch spot at Kauppahalli. This French style bistro is charming and the lunch menu is always wonderful, with some stable varieties such as the Bouillabaisse for example. I had this during our visit and it was certainly worth the hype. Highly recommended!

Excellent breakfast (8-11) 10€, which included fresh Juice , croissant with jam, egg benedict (vegan, meat & other possible option to choose from) and versatile options of coffee/tee based on your wish. We had a nice salad lunch in 4 Vuodenaikaa, it is situated in Tampere market hall in very centrum of Tampere. Sallad was good with nice cold beer. Staff was friendly.

a tampere journey with a visit for the market. an half of market has been transformed into restaurant. Not a good signal this one in "french touch". really impossible with a shrimps salad with some in box shrimps the fish soup is a great solitude...instant. great deals of herbs.(in french thym, anis etoilé...). 4 Vuodenaikaa is a great Alsatian style restaurant in the food market hall of Tampere. It has great atmosphere and many of the ingredients (i.e. fishes) are from the market hall. The menu is very tempting including small and larger dishes. Their fish soup (bouillabaisse...style) is always in then list. Also snails and escargots are great. No table reservations are taken, so be prepared to wait few moments in the busy times. Great service and great wines & calvados is also found here. Probably the best lunch spot in Finland.More

Went to check whether their salmon soup is worth af all praise! It is good, even very good. Not the best of the world good, but very delicious. Place it self has not too much place to sit and eat especially if you are here...in lunch time. After lunch time, when I was there, there is very well places to choose. So, if not in hurri in the middle of lunch hours my recommendation is to wait for a while. Soup is excellent, try it!More

Went into the city (Tampere) just to enjoy dinner on Friday late afternoon..Knowing that Kauppahalli closes at 6pm, got there at 4pm and to my disappointment found out that 4 Vuodenaikaa closed already at 3.45pm..what a pity!!
