I ordered meatballs with potatosmash. It was eatably but made no impression. The athmosphere was quite allright. The service was very good and the waiters were very polite and smiling. I liked the place.

I went to Martina on an evening during Suomi Areena. Luckily I got a table right away. Martina was crowded like all restaurants in Pori during these evenings. The atmosphere is casual, the food was OK. Nothing especial, but good. I had to wait for...the food 45 minutes. It seems that they were not prepared for the amount of customers on that evening, I saw only two waiters, they were both friendly, not stressed, even though working very hard. To my surprise the restaurant closes also early, 9-9.30 PM.More

Ate here last night, as it was one of the few restaurants near our Scandic Hotel that was open and served something we could both eat. Restaurant was quite full and the only table we could find away from noisy children had a huge stain...on the table cloth, which I covered with a napkin when it became apparent that it wasn't going to be replaced. My pizza was fine (Fantasia with three choices of toppings). My husband's spaghetti and meatballs turned out to be tagliatelli, with a carbonnara sauce and two giant meatballs. As he said, each on their own would be fine but the two didn't go together and he expected a different pasta (spaghetti), with a tomato based sauce. Having said that, the food was fine, salad bar a nice touch but by the time we got to it, it was looking pretty sad and had not been replenished. Wine prices and food prices fair. One staff member (male) stood out as helpful and proactive. Not sure what happened to our waitress but she disappeared after our meal was served and we never saw her again. Good place for a quick, inexpensive pizza or pasta.More

We visited our friends in Pori and decided to go out for a nice dinner. Our friends proposed Martina, and even though I was very suspicious I didn't say anything - after all, I was a tourist in their home town. I decided not to...be so picky this time and try to enjoy what ever Pori had to offer. How bad can it be? Already when we entered the restaurant I felt strong vibes from the 80's. Ok, I thought, let's not jump to conclusions. Obviously the restaurant isn't counting too much on decoration, but the food can still be good. How little did I know.. We all had one of Martina's classic dish for starters, Martina's snails. I don't know what was wrong with them. Maybe it was just the fact that they were not cooked properly, and served cold. However, they tasted like spoiled, and I couldn't even finish my portion. I've had snails many many times before, better and worse, but never ever have I had a portion tasting so repulsive. The main course was at least eatable, but didn't give any pleasure at all by taste, texture, innovation or presentation. Really a dull portion resembling the ones you might be served in gas stations. Some of us had other Martina's classic dishes, pork with an excessive amount of cream served on an iron pan. It really looked something straight from 80's, and not in a good way. The dish received some praise, but you can't make cream, pork, onion and mushrooms (canned probably) taste completely bad. I really don't want to come back here ever again, nor want to have 80's food in 2016! What's wrong with you, haven't you learned anything in the last decades? I gave Martina 2 stars simply because some of us seemed to enjoy their pork dish. To be honest, 2 stars was too much..More

Martina is usually a good choice in Pori. This time I had a pepper steak with cognac-pepper sauce and garlic potatoes and the meal was very delicious.

Had an enjoyable evening here with my girlfriend (I'd recommend this restaurant for couples and small groups of friends). The location of the restaurant is just what I like: not too central, but neither is too far from the city centre. Friendly staff, a jovial...atmosphere, and good food at a reasonable price.More

Went here, because my boyfriend wanted try try it out. Very good big burgers. Not something you get from McDonals or Hesburger. Now I now what is good REAL burger. Very taste medium cooked steak between and so good. Cost something between 15-28 euros, but...it is wort it and it will fill your stomach even if you are a big man (My boyfriend couldn't even eat it all). Good service and good place to go with friends.More

Both the food and service were good. I had chicken with goat cheese and marinated vegetables. Delicious!

I ate chicken salad but there were more pastas and soups on the list than beef. Lunch list was average but cost only 10 euros or less, so it was worth prize. Service was slow and shy.

I'm writing this a resident of Pori. Martina offers propably the best food in town. Restaurant is an italian themed, and in which they've succeeded is creating italian atmosphere. During daytime it's very good place to have a seat and enjoy a very good and...rather cheap meal. It is middle of downtown, so no long walk here. That is (only) minus aswell. A view from window is really boring, as all you can see is cars and busy people, and from first floor, so you can not observe life of city really. During nighttime it is only way to get there by walking or using a taxi, cause there is no parking place at all. Food is really good and there are some meals for kids, aswell which makes it an good place for families too. This eats a bit of atmosphere points as sometimes there might be running childs out there! Menu is large, with way over than 100 different course on it. Restaurant has very nice collection of spirits aswell. It has nice bar in where you can have drink or two after you have eaten. "Vodka Martini - shaken, not stirred" or how was it? :) Find it out yourself but im definitely recommending this place!More
