My husband and I went to Long Kong for dinner on a Saturday night. The service was great, very friendly and polite. I ordered fried noodles with beef and it was just perfect. We will definitely come back when visiting Pori next time!
Good variety of options in the buffet, nice atmosphere. Although the food is a little bit greasy as most of it is fried/deep fried, it is still better than average Chinese restaurants you'd find in Finland. The weekend buffet is €14 and average a la...carte price for a meal would cost around €12 to €18.More
Our group of three has business lunch in this nicely decorated Chinese restaurant. We all took buffet lunch which included basic food items (pork, beef etc.) but were all very delicious. Atmosphere was very nice proving us very comfortable lunch experience.
My girlfriend has visited this restaurant on numerous occasions and she said the service is usually very good, but when I visited with her the service was unbelievably bad. The waitresses were sitting together in a group behind a desk and talking among themselves and...we as guests felt totally forgotten. When the food did arrive it was absolutely delicious, and perhaps I would try this restaurant again in the future simply because of the quality of the menu for vegetarians.More
We visited on Valentines Day and both had the buffet lunches.
The main foods are nothing special, just beef, chicken, pork dishes. Also there is battered chicken, some battered prawns (only one dish of those which never reappeared), chicken wings, soup and two different rices...(one plain and one with vegetables mixed in)
We went for the sushi though. On weekends they also offer sushi along with the buffet at a price higher than during the week.
There was around 4/5 different sushi types, salmon nigiris, salmon rolls, cucumber rolls and some soy (maybe) covered sushi.. But anyway they were all nice and they were constantly being brought out from the kitchen.
The decor is dark but pleasant and the staff were okay. Just pay as you go in then you're left alone to eat as much as you want.More
We had a table for 6, and we were the only people in the restaurant. We later found out it was Chinese New Year and they had closed early! Still the staff served us perfectly and the food was very good, will definitely return.
I was absolutely "amazed" by the way the staff behaves towards customers. The chinese cashier started yelling at me when I came 2nd time to sushi buffet (1st time I tried 1salmon nigiri and 2cucumber maki). reason? they accused me of eating too much sushi!...honestly, this was the 3rd and very last time I was there. all 3 times the chinese buffet was exactly the same (soup, pork and beef were not eatable; sushi consists of salmon nigiri and cucumber maki - that is it!).
no chance to be satisfied nor to recommend.
What is really "best", this happened on Valetine's day and the yelling was toward a pregnant woman. very sad.More
Today bought some takeaway, schezuan chicken. It was very good and the portion large enough.
They still use styrofoam boxes, which is rare in Finland. Perhaps not as environment friendly as cardboard boxes but it kept the food warm till I got home.
