Service was too slow. It took 1 hour to get dishes and we did not get any worning beforehand that it would take so long. Food was ok.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We ate here only once on my gf 23d birthday. When one of the waitresses heard that it was a birthday party, she kindly added a complementary glass of wine free of charge. We were waiting...for 45 mins for food, but after the food came and we came to the dessert part, they have brought us an extra dessert by surprise. Only after we left we recounted that we only ordered one dessert. So, I am a bit confused if it was complementary dessert or not. If not, I would have gladly paid the 9 euro because it was masterfully prepared. I definitely recommend this place. Five stars to the wait stuff.More

Arrived a little late, but they were friendly to take us in even though the restaurant was quite full and about to be closed. Service was good and fast, also the kitchen was able to make the portions quite quickly. Tasty food, good wines and...cold beer. ;-)More

We had breakfast here while staying at Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki. The breakfast is always included in the room price. The breakfast is served on the 2nd floor. Lunch and dinner are served downstairs. The food selection from the buffet was extensive. It was pleasantly...calm as the hotel was not full. The coffee was brought to the table as always at Solo Sokos hotels.More

Friendly service, excellent salad (Prosciutto e capra) and pizza (Diavola). Premises are cosy and peaceful.

We had a reservation at 19.00 for two persons and when we arrived we were told that the kitchen had informed that it will take 35-40 minutes to get the food. The restaurant was very busy so we could understand this. The problem was in...the end that we did wait to get our main course for 1 hour and 40 minutes and we did order only pasta with chicken. The food when we get it was not either anything to wait for, the taste was not there! Many other tables did also ask for their food and one table asked for the bill before they did start to eat the main course. We was given a glass of champagne for excuse but the service from this restaurant was miserable! We will never visit this restaurant anymore!More

I had business dinner for 10 people. Made reservation week early and came on time. We had to wait 30 min to get ourselves to table. Asked twice, and stated I had reservation. No help. Terrible. Food was ok. One customer got his main course...25 min later than others ☹️ Requested sparkling water 3 times. I have been here many times before, but it was my last time. Company paid long dinners should be good business for them, but I will take my customers and money elsewhere from now. Low, just low.More

The food has been perfect every time I've eaten here. If you are visiting with a bigger group or as a couple, I can recommend ordering ready-made menus with shareable food. Last time I only had garlic snails and Diavolo pizza. Service has also been...pretty good, but I felt like the last time wasn't that successful. The waitress forgot to mention to my colleague that the main plate wouldn't be enough without side dishes, and unfortunately, he left the restaurant hungry. The waitress also failed in recommending desserts and upselling. Usually, when somebody tells that they cannot decide what they would like to have, they are expecting to get recommendations. Still, the overall experiences have been good. Just remember that this is a part of S-group, and usually, you can notice that in the level of the service.More

This restaurant is located at the basement of Sokos Solo Paviljonki Hotel. I used this restaurant three times during my stay in Jyvaskyla. At times we were seated quickly, at times it took quite a long time to be seated even though it was not...a busy time. We are given some focaccia and olive oil/balsamico to start with. I liked the lamb but I found that the carbonara was not cooked very well (too bland for my taste). The tiramisu was very big, enough to be shared by two people. Sometimes it took a long time to get the attention of the waitstaff, be it for the order, or to get the bill. You get charged 1€ for the normal water. It is a nice enough restaurant but I’d expect a bit more of a place located in such a good hotel.More

Saturday afternoon lunch in an empty restaurant ended up being very bad experience. First the waitress directed us to a table in a dark and narrow spot, from where we had to request a more pleasant table. After a while the staff seated a very...loud group right next to our table, in this restaurant which really was empty. Our waitress (or any other staff member) did not react to this group's behaviour nor our complaints about the adjacent group but she only replied us she had no authority to ask the other group to be less noisy and asked if we wanted to change our table (after receiving our food) - unbelievable!! Very unprofessional approach from her to this situation, which left us suffering from the very loud environment for the length of our meal. Additionally to not taking any actions with the amazingly loud group, there were no apologies from her, no refund on the bill nor any other corrective actions. Also one of our dishes was incorrect which she did not notice and we had to separately ask her to provide the correct one. All in all a huge disappointment from this "gem of Jyväskylä's restaurants"! Their description of "hospitable and talkative service" really did not get realized.More
