We checked Curry King’s web page on the morning of Tuesday 5th January and it showed the restaurant as being open. The website had a useful “updates” section showing days the restaurant had exceptional closed days in the past; but no comments for today. Seeing...as we started our 85km journey before the restaurant was due to open, we didn’t phone ahead. Why would we need to? The website said “open today” and no comments in the updates section about alterations to normal opening hours. So let’s go eat some curry! Imagine our disappointment to arrive and find a handwritten “olemme lomalla” (we’re on holiday) sign taped to the entrance door. It’s understandable that COVID has caused small businesses some challenges recently (which was one of the reasons we actually thought it would be nice to support one of the few Indian restaurants in Central Finland). But here it seems the owners are on holiday and have chosen not to inform potential customers. “Poor management” or “Just don’t care, we’re busy sunning ourselves in Spain”. Well you can make your own assumption. So the message/warning here is: If you’re like us, and enjoy trying restaurants outside of your normal area, please don’t trust the opening times published on the website.More

Very nice place. Beautifully designed Restaurant with perfect taste in the middle of Joutsa. A small city on E75. Great place to hold on E75.

This was the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten if I could rate more than 5/5 I would, If you’re ever in the region then you should definitely check it out
