We called 4 times and no one answered the call, it was 20:00h and it was supposed to close at 23:00h, when we arrived there, the restaurant was empty, and the workers did not let us enter to eat because they were drinking inside

We visited Roux during our Lahti visit. Roux is clearly the best restaurant in Lahti and has kept its quality over the years. However, this year the food was exceptionnally good: aspargus was not that special, but the broccoli & broccoli sauce were heavenly good....The pike perch with mushroom gravy was 6/5. During some of our visits, there have been some dissapointments, but this year the food was so good to tell stories about it. Thank you, I am waiting for the next time to visit again.More

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice atmosphere in this former pharmacy. Tasty starter buffet and nicely presented main courses with explanations given when served. Cheese board rounded it all up. They prepared an own three course set for my daughter who's vegetarian, gluten- and lactose-free....Not cheap - but excellent food (with the service provided) hasn't to be cheap.More

Great restaurant in old pharmacy premises. We both took menus with starters, main & desert. I took the salmon sashimi, steak & millefeuille; all of the delicious. Can recommend! My husband took blinis, lobster soup, reindeer & chocolate 3 ways; his being as delicious. Will...definitely go again!More

We had a couple's lunch here in Saturday afternoon. Restaurant is quite big, three big rooms including bar, and was surprisingly full. Reservation is recommended. Interior was traditional brown shades and dark wood. Table placing was spacious which gave airy feeling and bit private conversation...space. Interior was echoing and fortunately there wasn't any background music, but just people talking which was nice also. Service was modest and quite minimal but friendly and kind. Perfect for Finnish style. Menu was simple and wine selection wide. We ate 3 course menus. First we got amuse buche which was warm pumpkin soup which was nice starter. All courses were almost superb, weakest was the my main course of duck's breast. Food was Finnish style and size was perfect for a bigger man also. Kitchen fed courses out steadily without long waiting times, until desert which was delayed bit. Overall we ate 2 hours. This visit was pleasant and there wasn't anything to complain which is rare. I was happy to pay bit pricey food. Service was also minimal but customer was noticed very well. I left happy and satisfied.More

Lovely, welcoming restaurant in quiet area just five minutes away from the main shopping area. Interesting and varied menu with a great deal of locally sourced food. Menu also in English and good variety of drinks. Food presented and served very well with good explanations...also of what the different parts were. We were particularly well looked after by a very good waitress with excellent English spoken. Reasonably expensive but very good value.More

We are foodies who have been to many of the world's top restaurants, and we were blown away by Roux. The service, food and ambiance were outstanding. The plating was as superb as at Olo, Helsinki'top restaurant. Only the wine list is abut thin, but...obviously there isn't that much demand for 95 point wines in Lahti. If you find yourself in Helsinki, trust me: it's worth the 100km drive to Lahti, just to experience Roux.More

I'm not a big fan of butter-and-cream-based French cuisine but Roux is worth a visit, though. The food is exciting, combining contrasting elements. Everything looks impeccable. Location is excellent with a short distance to both the travel center and local hotels.

We had a Sunday brunch with a glass of champagne. Pricey but worth every cent. Very friendly staff makes you feel welcomed and when the food was excellent, the visit guarantees us to return!

Absolutely the best food in Lahti area. Nice surrounding and divine food. Wine recommendations were on point too. Staff is friendly and professional.

After 4 four years in Finland the best experience together with Kasikis in Turku. Expecially compered the level in Helsinki not mention price /quality.
