Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a birthday dinner in Harald. First of all, the service was very friendly. My husband took pork, and it was delicious and soft and the dish was really big (you can choose 200 g or 400 g). My salmon offered the ideal combination...of moistness and spice. The chocolate cake crovned the meal.More

We were there as four people and had a mixture of a sword menu . You can dine with big comfort and taste the hommade Haralds F&B. The scenery is great...dont forget to wear your horn helmets and swords.

We visited the restaurant in a group of 11 people. The atmosphere was good and we felt welcomed. The waitresses were friendly and helpful, and paid attention to the younger members of our group. We had made our reservation in before hand and it worked...out well. The food was delicious (salmon, chicken, beef, burgers) - from starters to desserts. Absolutely recommended!More

We had to Viking played and a fish dish . The fish was absolutely horrible . It tasted like mud and was not firm at all . The Viking plates were ok but nothing spectacular. The interior decor is good and thought out . They...need to improve there cooking to matchMore

We had a meeting today with representatives of the government. I think the meeting was successful and the outcome is positive. The company I represent will manage.

I had heard only good things about this place and I went with friends who had all been here before; which was a great recommendation in itself. The restaurant is quite dark and I presume attempting to evoke a Viking atmosphere. You are given optional...Horner helmets to wear which we gladly put on! The food came out quickly and was delicious. It tasted fresh and it was different to what I've tried before and certainly more Scandinavian than the majority of restaurants in Lahti. The restaurant itself was relaxed so both food and drink could be enjoyed. The waitress was accomodating and friendly even after we had to send back some wine. I would certainly recommend highly.More

Price quality. Local people are not often in the restaurant Harald. The food is cooked quickly and tasty. There are dishes from the region. But, be careful, these dishes are for the extreme fan. The interior is for those who do not know the scandi...style, the kindest, good old-fashioned style. The service resembles a Viennese restaurant where the waiter /garçon is the main person, but with a good heart.More

Restaurant decorated in a Viking style, a little rough in style. Food doses old-fashioned names, meat dishes game and sheep. food fresh and close produced and very tasty. Waiters talk with old-fashioned dialect, which is a different experience compared to a regular restaurant. A kind...of experience to visit this restaurant, I recommend.More

Food is relatively ok, I would even say that it's quite decent but prices are a bit too high compared places having similar quality. Theme and stories behind menus are nice and so is the environment. So recommended if you like the idea eating like...modern vikings but once seen, really hard to find a reason to go again.More

The restaurant has special viking style decorations. The food was tasty and very unique. You can learn from the menu some facts of vikings history. Friendly staff dressed in national clothes. It was very pleasant finish of our vacation in Finland.

If your looking for a fun place to eat and some cold beer you can’t wrong stopping here! As soon as you enter it is like being through back in time and eating with the Vikings plus eating local foods. A very large menu with...many choices. We had the reindeer which was very good. The mushroom soup for a starter was very good on cold night along with the lamb stew. If you want to try some different things your can always get the “sword”! Staff was great and very helpful. I would suggest you try the local Harald beer that just has a touch of honey added to it!More
