We visited here with ghd family of 6 people and had to wait more than one hour. Fortunately they informed this when placing orders so it wasn't a big deal for us. Food was tasty but the size of portions were quite small for lunch...so we were disappointed in the end. Otherwise nice venue for drinks and marvelous terrace!More

A restaurant boat with character situated in a beautiful setting of the Lahti harbor, but unfortunately with very mediocre food and service. Quite a disappointment as the location deserves much better!

Kaunis Veera is one of those untold restaurant boats that you can find in harbors all over the world. They are not sailing, just moored to the quay, but they give you some “sailor” feeling when they are at their best. Kaunis Veera doesn’t belong...to those best ones. The food is not bad at all, but you have to be prepared to wait up to one hour before you can have it if it happens that the restaurant is crowded. The absolute best with Kaunis Veera is the view from the vessel over Lake Vesijärvi. On a sunny evening it’s worth to sit on the deck with a bier or a glass of vine and just enjoy the breathtaking view. And why not have a pizza if you have time to wait for itMore

Don't come here if you are hungry or in a big crew. You have to wait the food over 45 minutes (so forget lunch-time meal). Ad if you are with more than one person, meals come different times so one has aleady eaten when the...other just gots his/hers meal. Oh..and the food is cold.More

Kaunis Veera is nice name for restaurant, and it has an excellent location in Lahti harbour area. I used to eat lunch there, and I have never been disappointed, and this time was not an exception. I preferred lunch buffet that has good value for...money. For others "chicken basket" was very good, as well as pizza and big salad portion. Weather was not so good and this place had enough room although outside seating on upper deck was not fully occupied. If you come to Lahti, this is good alternative to have lunch or later meal. Kaunis Veera is an old cruiser in Lahti harbour. The view of the lake is lovely. Took an hour to get our food, even some of the people who came after us got the food before! When my boyfriend got his Pizza, it was cold!...My chicken basket was good, alltho the menu said "lankkuperunat" i got french fries..More

This restaurant has nice surroundings. We went there for lunch. There were both buffet lunch and ala carte menu available. The buffet was nothing special, but the ala carte fish dish was delicious and only 17 euros. So skip the buffet! Staff provided fast service...with a smile. For some reason most of the customers were elderly people, hopefully other customers find this place too.More

This ship restaurant is located in passenger harbour in Lahti. Location is good and the harbour area is one of the loveliest places in Lahti in summertime. Kaunis Veera have some typical Finnish dishes in their menu, such as salmon soup and vendaces, both of...which are worth trying. Also they have some very good pizzas. Mains are between 13-18euros, stakes little bit more but overall price level is quite reasonable. If you go there in the evening (they are open until late) you might see a beautiful sunset while eating.More
