Nice place to have a nice salad, a drink or a cup of coffee. I on the famous lake of the touristic harbor of Lahti. Great address. Friendly staff. Confortable seats and affordable prices.

Summertime is here and the Piano Pavilion has a new owner. Been here few times, place is awesome just by (or actually on) the lake Vesijärvi in the Lahti harbour. Lots of staff behind the counter and they are there to serve you. The best...muffins in town, nice sandwiches and some hot meals too. All is served to the tables and the prices are moderate. When you're sitting in the terrace, you are actually sitting on top of the water and the view to the lake and harbour is so great and relaxing. Strong recommendation!More

I visited this recently opened new restaurant in early April this year (2016) while visiting the city of Lahti, with a business colleague. It is beautifully appointed and comfortable. The award winning design affords excellent views across the harbour and southern end of Lake Vesijarvi...from virtually every seat in the place. The food we were served can only be described as exquisite - "Finnish caviar" from the lake (not actually caviar but a very good alternative), Reindeer meat in a red wine sauce with local Cloud-berries, and a recently interesting selection of cheeses to finish. The service was just the combination of friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommended. Pricing good for this high standard.More
