Out-dated and pricy when it comes to food BUT
+ child-friendly yet quiet
+ old-fashioned in a cozy way (nothing is broken nor dirty)
+ food was tasty (though my salmon & shrimp dish had only two shrimps. Also the main reason not getting higher...rating.)
+ lots of parking space nearbyMore
The food was absolutely delicious. I took salmon with potatoes and mushroomsauce. Price was 32 euros. Also wine was really good. Place wa so nice and with sea theme. Customer service was really really nice!! I recommend!!
The lunchbuffet was quite small but comprehensive. All dishes was homemade, simple and very tasty. The Salmonsoup was very good too. Very frienly service to table make me feel cozy like old days in restaurant. I can recommend this restaurant, if you like sit and...eat well.More
This is like when travelling to Sweden by boat. Good buffet luch with various kind of fish. The fish soup was very very good, the atmosphere nice and the old man playing a piano made it close to perfect.
Had a business lunch/diner at this place. Revommended buffet was excellent. Fresh Salades, Soups, Fish in all variations. Well presented and great taste. Nice atmosphere, not overdone. And if you can't miss your meat, there is an excellent slide of meatbread.
This restaurant is located in a fairly dull street in Kotka but you must not be fooled by this.
Inside we enjoyed a delicious meal. As we are not people who can easily digest 3 courses we wanted the fish platter, but the waitress told...us that it could be not enough. She proposed an enlarged version of the platter that could serve as a main course. A very good suggestion as the platter was very tasty. Added benefit: wine was unusually cheap for Finland. Highly recommended.More
