Excellent pasta

This trattoria seems to be pretty popular; on an early Sunday afternoon almost fully booked. My partner had Spaghetti Ai Gamberoni, delicious, she testified. I had Pasta da Forno, which was very good (for some reason it seems not included in the website menu). Reasonable prices, not poshy. Recommended!

Herkullinen pizza, pohja niin pehmeä mutta rapsakka samaan aikaan. Tiramisu suussa sulavaa, talon punaviini täyteläistä ja edullista. Ehdottomasti menen uudestaan. -- Delicious pizza, the crust was soft and crisp at the same time. Tiramisu was amazing, melted in my mouth. House red wine was great and affordable. Definitely going back.

Best Italian food outside Italy

Sometimes you stumble upon rare gems in the restaurant business, La Bella Trattoria formerly known as Presto Trattoria is one of them. Did 2 visits in 2 days with friends and the food and atmosphere were great. For those of you who have read my other reviews, you know I appreciate quality and that praise must be earned. I am not easily wooed so believe me when I say this is worth your time and money. First day we tried out pasta and risotto. Both dished were well balanced, made from high quality produced and tasted just like an Italian nonna had been slaving over a hot stove the entire days. Rich and plentiful tastes just like you would expect from a traditional Italian trattoria. The next day we tried pizzas, good in size and incredible in taste. Rustic looking, flavor packed and well composed again with high quality produce. I have spent quite some time in Italy and visited countless establishments over the years. This is the first time I have gotten that authentic Italian vibe outside Italy. Well worth a visit and I would advise you to book a table as they appear to be pretty well packed most of the time. The service level is great too and if you find yourself in Helsinki, but craving Italian, this should be your choice.

A good place for takeaway pizza

A good place for takeaway pizza and lasagna. The menu itself is quite boring and pasta dishes are not good at all. Dine-in experience is not great. Suited well for takeaways for home or for picnic in the nearby Mustikkamaa.

Pizza for dinner

Nice fresh pizza, absolutely huge! Good balance between tomato and cheese, not greasy, my veggie pizza had loads of toppings! Nice staff. Costs around $20, however, and the only restaurant in Finland that charges ($1) for tap water

Great food, staff with bad attitude

Visited the place for the maybe tenth time in total. The food was, once again, absolutely lovely with delicious Italian wines. However, the service just keeps on getting worse and worse each time... Would it be too much to ask for the staff to properly notice the customers and give the slightest "customer comes first"-illusion?

Tasteless pasta

The prawn pasta was very tasteless. Chilli aftertaste, otherwise a completely tasteless portion. The pasta was swimming in oil, even though it should have been in a white wine sauce. I can make much tastier pasta myself.

The worst service I have ever seen in my life. Incredibly rude staff, especially the restaurant manager. Cant even tell if the food was good or not because the service ruined the whole experience.

Pizzas are very good. But the service is so awful!! I have been in this restaurant more than ten times and i have recommended it also to my friends. now there is this older man who is very unpolight every time! We will never visit this place again. Enough is enough!!

Fantastic Italian style restaurant with customer friendly service. Food was excellent Italian homemade style and taste perfect. Price level fits the offerings. Remember make a table booking before visit. It seems to be a fully booked all the time. Easy to come and go.

Great Italian food

We visited the place after good reviews and we didn't disappoint at all. The restaurant has really nice menu and there is plenty of options. I tooks pasta and it was delicious. We enjoyed main course and desert. Tiramisu was very good. We will come back at this place.

My younger sons recommend place to eat at Kalasatama

Tested this place by recommendation of my younger son. We all three eat pasta. Good real Italian seafood pasta. Service was averange, and that stop one point. But visit this place, recommendation.

So nice to find a GOOD restaurant within walking distance from my home! Food was perfect! Delicious and big portions! Good value for the money! Service fast and our food was served quick! Place is often full so clearly, it is good! Nice ambience, with a great view! Definitely going back and often!
